Robotic surgery?
My mitral valve is deteriorating and
surgery
is in my future. Iβm 72, in good health besides aFib and my valve. Iβm interested in robotic
surgery
and if I would qualify. Curious what other folks experience is.

I have a prolapsed stoma which is 4 inches long and 55mm in diameter I've also herniated my bowel with it being 10cm in length. I also have 1 metre of small bowel left so not really much at all when

Recent surgery
Had the
surgery
last week. Had to get second operation to address post operative internal bleeding. I have a lot of bruising from the ribs to my vagina and my abdomen is very swollen. The most interesting thing is that the surgeon did not find any Endometriosis inside of me.

Surgery Today!
Iβm having spinal
surgery
today in my neck. So glad itβs finally happening but rather nervous too. I have cervical stenosis and myelopathy so Iβm hoping this operation will stop the progression of spinal cord damage π€π»π€π»π€π». Has anyone else had this happen.

If
surgery
is inevitable, what extra cautionary measures should ET patients take? With ET JAK2 diagnosed 11 years ago, I've been on Litalir, changed to Anagrelide 2 years ago and for the last 4 months on Rux.

Post surgery
I am 3 weeks after open heart
surgery
to repair my mitral valve. I am still wearing compression socks but for the last 3 days one of my ankles has been swallen. Is this normal weeks after
surgery
? Getting a GP appointment is almost impossible so wanted to know if anyone else experienced this.

Brain Surgery Recovery
After brain
surgery
as I had, or any type of

, it can be difficult to get back into life. It takes time and patience. Those 2 words I now hate. But itβs important to commit yourself to get thru the anxiety and depression.

Private Endo Surgery
Hi everyone, For those of you who have had
surgery
for endo treated privately can you share what I can expect at my inital consultation, what next steps were? I have preemptively sent my most recent MRI/Ultrasound and medical history. Was an examination carried out at first consult?
