Relugolix
Hi ladies,I was prescribed this drug last week and was looking for some reviews/experiences from those of you who have taken this medication. I know we all react differently to medications, but I am quite nervous to start it with it only being new to the market for endo/fibroids, wanting to do some

Lupron - start with one month dose or 3 months ?
Also , I have been reading that antagonists like Degarelix or
relugolix
may be safer from cardiac safety point compared to agonists like lupron ? Any thoughts and experiences which can be shared ? 🙏🏻

Relugolix/Orgovyx or Enzalutamide/Xtandi?
He is being given the option between going on
Relugolix
/Orgovyx with a three pill loader dose and then one pill a day thereafter or Enzalutamide/Xtandi, four pills a day. We are trying to decide which one would be best.

Lupron - are there heart risks?
Would degarelix or
relugolix
be better choices ? We are also considering getting Orchiechtomy done but the doctor said to take the first Lupron shot without delaying , and then after that we can think of the Orchiechtomy.

Agonists vs. antagonists (the latter not to be confused with a character in a novel!)
For those who are in the U.S., you are lucky if you want to use this class of drugs as
relugolix
has been approved for use for PCa and are in tablet form.

Any experience with elevated AST and ALT after being treated with
Relugolix
and Apalutamide? My AST and ALT were normal on
Relugolix
for 6 weeks.....added Apalutamide and after 4 weeks my AST and ALT are now 3X previous level. I feel fine.

My new oncologist started me on darolutamide and
relugolix
. This January, my PSA dropped to .2. Today my PSA was >.01 again after more than two years. It has been a journey. Today was the first day in a long time, I left the doctor's office with a smile.

Combine standard care with alternative care
My PSA in three months went from 58 to 70 with alternative treatment so I intend to take two
Relugolix
pills to lower it and continue the alternative care. My oncologist disagrees as does my naturopath but the U of M demonstrated what works. What say you.

Best use of Psa to guide intermittent hormone therapy
presently on
relugolix
+ Darolutamide for local reccurrence and will go off these drugs if Psa is less than .65 three months ago tested and go back on when Psa reaches 3-5.. Seems it will be about 6months and hopefully 6 months off, Tentative protocol so far. Input from all and for all welcomed.

Switching from Lupron to Ogovyx
Has anyone here switched to Orgovyx (
relugolix
) pills from Lupron shots? Is it advisable to do so? Is there a huge cost differential?

sudden stop in PSA decline
— I’d not yet taken my daily
relugolix
that morning before the PSA draw …
could this have been a factor?

Constipation is a known issue with the Orgovyx
I've been on Orgovyx (
Relugolix
) for around 2.5 years now. and find myself getting increasingly constipated. It's the most tenacious SE. My labs are all stable and my PSA is stable at <0.02. But I'm now on 4 types of laxatives and next am planning on getting an enema and trying that.

Add Nubeqa to Orgovyx?
I have started ADT with Orgovyx (
relugolix
) and want to add an ARI. The urologist wants to use the ARI Erleada (apalutamide). I want Nubeqa (darolutamide) as it does not cross the blood-brain barrier, because in past 4 years I have had 3 un-diagnosable seizures.

Orgyvux(relugolix) and Zytiga(abiraterone)
I have a question from one of my support group members. They are currently on Orgyvux. Doc wants to add Zytiga to their treatment. Will the ADT side effects be the same with the addition of Zytiga, or will they become worse? Seems like the side effects would be worse, if T is driven to a lower level
