Possible endo mass post hysterectomy
She wants me to try depo
provera
for 3 months before considering laparoscopy. She said that surgery could turn into bowel resection and I might could make it to menopause on the depo
provera
considering that I'm 47.

Endometrial hyperplasia with complex atypia
Hi, I have been diagnosed with endometrial hyperplasia with complex atypia at 49 and am being treated with
provera
. Having researched this a little it seems that without atypia this is a suitable treatment but that with atypia a hysterectomy is recommended. Can anyone shed any light on this ?

Too much info! Norethisterone.
Sorry ladies, basically I've taken norethisterone for the first time in 2 years (I usually take
provera
or another alternative) I finished taking them a week ago and have been waiting for AF.

Endometriosis, Serve pain, and more problems
After that I went on these shots that were called the Demo
Provera
, which was for 12 months. This takes the monthly menstruation away during that time. These shots did nothing for my situation because when I was taken off of the shots. The problem just came right back.

Depot provera injection used to help with endometriosis - definitely worth a read
It's def worth reading the above link I've just read this on a endo Facebook page - why are we given this injection? And why are we not told about the side effects? This makes me quite angry and upset xxx What do other people think about the above link?

Struggling to lose weight :(
I went on the Depo-
Provera
shot for a year and a half and now I am nearly 13 stone and a size 16-18 which is really starting to get me down. I know my weight gain has been caused by the injection but now I just cannot seem to shift it.

Could this be related to my endo?
She prescribed Depo
Provera
and sent me on my way. The Depo was fantastic at first. I stopped bleeding immediately and my symptoms - which I had been experiencing for 2-3 weeks a month - reduced drastically to the point where I was pretty much symptom free.

Here we go...
Hadn't expected it so soon since I was taking
provera
so imagined it would be next week when I went. My lining isn't getting thinner; but after a lovely chat with my Dr we're going to start later today. I wish I'd stop being so emotional and more excited! xx

Advice would be very welcome, thank you 😀
I have been prescribed
provera
10mg (medroxyprogesterone) but I am frightened to take it. Has anyone taken this & do you suffer with many side effects? My main concern is weight gain/depression. Thanks for reading my post.

Cyst and endo back after surgery 6 months ago, losing hope once again
useless, but all was well on my right side, I agreed for it to be removed for my best chance of getting pregnant in the long run, if I have to go down the IVF route, they said my ovaries are healthy and They shouldn't see why I won't be able to get pregnant, it took me 4 months later and the help of

Incorrect BSGE referral :-( Norton Diet & alternative solution?
I have
Provera
tablets to take but have't started the pack yet. I'm awaiting MRI results. I asked my GP to do me a BSGE referral & got a Choose & Book appointment letter today which is to the hospital not the BSGE.... I feel completely hopeless and don't know where or what to do next?!

Warning: this box is scarier than it is...
I've been taking
Provera
. Has anyone else done that route? And now I'm at the end of that... I know... I'm just waiting for that period to start so I can start making my way through the fridge of tricks... This is scar... So...I've just about stopped looking at everything now. And actually?

Tomorrow...
Tomorrow I go for my appointment to order drugs and figure out whether I require
provera
drug or we work out a start date. I've had a pretty horrific three weeks with random times of flood bleeding and then nothing for 10 hours or more. I'm scared, emotional and excited.

Struggling..
I've just tried
Provera
3x a day! I took it for about a month and a half - I felt sick every day and my pain was getting worse. I'm now off of that and currently trying to control my pain with pain killers..
