Low potassium levels
Hi, my Mum had a bypass on Tuesday and is doing well but her
potassium
levels are low and they're having to give her
potassium
chloride
through a drip. I spoke with her nurse who didn't seem too concerned but does anyone know why this happens?

Time to come off Ropinerole 4 years after being on Pramepexole 7 years. What else can I try????
Magnesium, sodium,
potassium
,
chloride
all within range. White blood cell count within range. What other tests can a doctor do? Is it worth having bloods done again 6 months after last results? Or something else I'm missing? Any help is appreciated.

Alpro Almond Milk..... why do they do this? Any chemists have words of advice?
I stopped having cow's milk sometime ago and have been very happy using Alpro Almond milk instead. It contains Vitamins D2, E, B2 and B12 and calcium as shown in the photo. I noticed today that the packaging had changed and thought to myself "I wonder if anything else has?" So I checked. Yes indeed

Oral Iron supplements, doing it wrong!
Well, I got my full blood test back and after some analysis, I think I messed up. I have been supplementing daily with 36 milligrams of ferrous bisglysinate. Here are my lab results that concern me. Ferritin was 72! This is my lowest since my infusion in 2016. Eight weeks after my infusion

Hello! New here! Can you take collagen supplements with potassium iodide at 50mg with Hashmotos disease?
I am very curious because I have leaky gut and want to supplement with collagen which I heard helps leaky gut. I heard potassium iodide is good for hashmotos as its like a detox for the thyroid. If you can help that's great thanks guys. Xx

Dosing with Potassium Chloride
I read that most people fail to consume their RDA of
potassium
. I have recently started eating a gram of
potassium
chloride
dissolved in water with every meal. I feel it is working to reduce my bp, which has reduced from high (c.150 sys) below 130.

I am confused CKD
Serum
Potassium
level 4.1 mmoI/L. Serum
chloride
level 106 mmoI/L. Serum creatinine level 86 umoI/L. eGFR using creatiniine (CKD-EPI) per 1.73 square metres 57 mL/min/1.73*2 (>60.0) which then states "below low reference limit".
