A cause of elevated serum thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) concentration
This is well recognized for prolactin and commonly screened for using
polyethylene
glycol
(PEG) precipitation. The phenomenon and a suitable screening method is less familiar with respect to thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH).

Can someone please help me with my current problems.....
I am 28 and have sturggled over the last 10 years with spradic abdominal pain. It first started with a dull pain in my stomach (quite high at the bottom of my ribs). I ignored it for about 3-4 years as it would only happen a few times a year. Then in 2008 (whilst living in Australia) I had an attack

Dry Mouth
My mouth and throat get extremely dry at night, does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do to help with with this? The pharmacist suggested taking glycerin. Thanks

Painful mouth and tongue question
Hello, This is my first question on this site. I’ve recently been diagnosed with Sjogren’s Syndrome (although I think I’ve had it for years) and Graves Disease. Every so often over the years I’ve noticed patches of taste buds appearing to be missing but at the moment it is worse. About 10 days

Allergies, Constipation and Motility (and Movicol !)
It contains a plastic derivative that is used in disposable nappies (macrogol
polyethylene
glycol
'3350) and just like the child who sits in a paddling pool with a nappy on, it swells with water. (try leaving a few sachets mixed overnight and see how it turns by morning.)

It's been a long week
Hi everyone, It's been one week since my ENT said there was nothing he could do for my sjogrens. Well with the help of people on this blog I have dramatically improved my outlook, improved my symptoms and have a greater understanding of how I can help myself to beat this (hopefully into remission
