Total hysterectomy without HRT?
Hi, I had a total hysterectomy three weeks ago for severe endometriosis and adenomyosis. I have been offered oestrogen HRT but I’m reluctant to use it because of the endometriosis and bad reactions to the pill and coil in the past. I am trying herbal remedies and don’t feel too bad. Can anyone tell

FET: anyone done Buselerin injections from day 1?
Hi all, wondering if anyone has gone through a FET with buselerin injection but started those at day 1 of the period together with estrogen tablets? Not at day 21 start? So I have had 2 frozen transfers to date, first BFN, 2nd BFP but turned into a chemical pregnancy. Both done with estrogen tablets

Is cramping a good or bad sign on day 11 post 3 day frozen embryo transfer?
Ive been much calmer this time because i did a day 3 frozen embryo transfer so no injections for eggs retrieval, only ovitrelle and progesterone tabs and estrogen. It is now day 11 post embryo transfer and im getting my blood test results tomorrow so very nervous as u can imagine. Today i felt very evident

What Next?
I have been on this forum for a few years now, and have seen that treatment usually follows the same procedure. I have had Carbo/Taxol with Avastin, Carbo/Caelyx, Rucaparib and am now ready for the next goody bag. Single Taxol has been suggested, but I have heard that this is not very successful. Does

Ectopics, estrogen and covid boosters
Hi, I haven't been here in a while but thought I would share my journey so far and have a quick moan 😉. I developed PVCs back in April, 4% load. Learned they were benign but was offered flecainide and atropolol if I wanted to try. That was a drug too many for me and I got cold feet. By this time I realised

Is it hypothyroidism and not ADHD?
I had been diagnosed with hypothyroidism several years ago and was on Synthroid. I am not sure how it happened, but then I was told my thyroid "corrected" itself and no longer needed to be on it. At the time, I trusted my doctors and didn't know what I know now. I was not doing well at all, but had no

Endometrial thickness
I was hoping to get some reassurance. I had a scan 2 days ago prior to FET while on estrogen tablets and my lining was 7.1mm. Although not great my doctor advised it was accepted and to start progesterone today and will do the transfer in 5 days. I had a repeat scan today after having trigger shot 2

Long time vegan, thinking of implementing fish oil supplement

I then tried pill form estrogen and progesterone for 12 days prescribed by an OBGYN to trigger and onset my period. Still no period but I feel every single PMS

FET cancelled due to large follicle
Hi everyone, just wanted to ask if this has happened to anyone else. I went for a baseline scan today on CD2 to check all is okay to start meds for my FET. However they found a large 16mm follicle (they said 10mm is the largest they want), and my estrogen level is elevated, so my FET cycle has been cancelled

FET
I just had a quick question, I’m getting ready for FET and been started on estrogen tablets 2mg three times a day and had a scan on the 11th day but my lining was only 6mm and the consultant has advised to increase the estrogen tablets to 4mg three times a day and re-scan. I feel that’s a really high

How do we avoid adverse interactions between Thyroid med/s and HRT? And what’s your experience of taking these concurrently?
However, finally today I have been prescribed the bio-identical hormones transdermal
Oestrogel
(Estradiol) 750mcg x2 pumps; and oral Utrogestan 100mg (progesterone) x1 on Days 1 to 25 of 28 day cycle.

After some advice and some personal experiences!
Hello, this is actually my first post so apologies if it is a bit long winded! After around 6 years struggling with pelvic related issues (PID, cysts, pain & heavy periods) I am now under gynae having investigations into endo. Over the last couple of years I have had bowel symptoms that have gotten worse

Irregular menstrual cycle
I am wondering if anyone may have some insights on what could be going on here. For the past few years I have been having an abnormal menstural cycle. I am a 31 year old female who started BC in my early 20’s. Then in 2017 when I was about 27 I decided to discontinue the BC. Throughout my twenties I

Hysterectomy and ovary removal plus excision of endometriosis- recovery tips please!!!
Hello all ❤ I had my surgery on Thursday. Does anyone have any advice to help me recover fully and well? (I'm already using estrogen patches and gel so I don't get a hormone deficiency). Endo was in uterus, ovaries and pelvis, plus on bowel. It's been a huge 23 slog, taking 20 years to get an endo diagnosis

Estrogen Patch ADT
My personal experience was that during the 6 months I was on estrogen patches, my testosterone was undetectable for the most part, it did bounce up to the low 20s a couple of times but I was experimenting with the dose. When I got the dose tuned in my testosterone was undetectable. Lupron reduces testosterone
