Post transfer symptoms
Hi all. I’m 8dp5dt with my first FET. I am taking cyclogest and lubion and have had mild cramping and very sore boobs basically since my transfer. This morning I have woken up with awful back pain, just like I feel when my period is about to start. I guess I have two questions. 1. Has anyone else had

Should an fet mimic the era protocol?
Hi girls, looking some advice. I did a natural modified ERA as my body refused to down regulate on a prevoius era attempt. This is pretty standard for me, down reg has been difficult on 4 separate occasions (2 fets and 2 era attempts) and ive ended up taking either nasal or injections for up to 6-7

Norethisterone for 5 days
Hello, My bleed from my egg retrieval started 8 weeks ago and I haven't had a natural period since. Today I was prescribed Norethisterone for 5 days to induce my period, then I can request frozen embryo transfer once that happens. Has anyone else done this before? How was it? Hope to hear from someone

FET implantation and then nothing?
Hello, I am just going through the second week of waiting following FET. I could swear that the embryo had implanted as I started to experience all the right symptoms in the first two/three days. Then they started disappearing. Now I feel like I am just waiting for the inevitable to happen at the end

Low & slow HCG
I had a blood HCG draw 10 days post a 5 day FET and it was 54, 3 days later it rose to 76. The Dr has told me to continue taking my meds and booked me in for an early pregnancy scan for 1st March. Now I know these results are low and haven’t doubled between the first 2 and so I wonder why my Dr is prolonging

Embryos frozen at day 4
Hi everyone, Our clinic says they only freeze embryos on day 4.All over the forums and internet I hear freezing at day 5 or 6. I have no idea why our clinic does at day 4 🥺 I checked with them if it’s just mine but they confirmed this is their protocol. Day 3 transfer and rest are frozen on day 4

Cyclogest pessaries
We are due to go for our FET on Saturday this week. I had my LH surge this Sunday at 10:30am. I always thought that the transfer was 5 days after? Which would be Friday? I am just wondering why our transfer is Saturday/ Not Friday? Or have I got that wrong? Also, I’ve been advised to take my progesterone

Hello everyone I've had six embryos transferred over the last couple of years and i've basically come to the point where I can't afford to keep financing more proper egg collection type cycles. However, I have some sperm left from my first born son's daddy which I don't want to waste and I could afford

Scan HELP!
Hi all, hope you are all well! We did our first IVF cycle Oct 23, which was positive however we had a MMC at 9 weeks and had medication management through EPU, which on my re- scan 10 days later they said no retained product of conception could be seen, so we were discharged back to our IVF clinic to

Light periods and FET success?
Morning all, hope your Mondays are treating you well. Has anyone suffered with light periods (1-2 day max) yet seen success with fresh or frozen transfers? I’ve started on meds for my first frozen transfer (after a failed fresh transfer in Nov). My periods have always been light after coming off the

GCA-Lyme Disease Connection?
Hi all, My wife is a long-time Lyme Disease sufferer, and has recently had a consultation with a biologist/pathologist. This person takes a blood sample and then looks at it under the microscope while the patient is present -- and then comments on what has been seen. My wife had the classic signs

Advice: RIF, ERA and PRP
Hi Everyone I've been searching for people's experience of RIF and their dilemma to use ERA tests. I had my third failed Donor Egg cycle, two cycles with two 5AA blastocyst. In theory it should have implanted. My husband had Karyotype and semen fragmentation test it came out fine. Young egg donor

Good responder but low blast rate - egg or sperm issue?
This is an update I hoped I wouldn't have to make. I arrived at the clinic for my 5-day embryo transfer yesterday full of hope. Unfortunately the embryologist said that I had only one embryo that had made it to early blast-the other six were still morulas. They transferred the early blast and kept the

1st FET about to start
Hello, About to start first round of frozen embryo transfer next month, this is all new to me. Only have one funded cycle of NHS and two embryos in bank. Any advice on different types of FET would recommend and any medicines or food to take to help prepare. Thank you. X

Failed modified natural FET - wrong protocol?
Hi there, I would appreciate experiences from those who did a modified natural FET. My doctor, for whatever reason, asked me to trigger one day then start progesterone 2 hours later, and the transfer was 5 days after trigger. I found that bizarre because the nurses had originally told me that progesterone

Next FET price
Hi, I'm just writing to have a little rant. I have a "privilege" to compare fertility treatment price increase year by year. For our FETs with included meds, fees etc we went from 2022 - £2097, through 2023 - £2247, and with our newest quote for 2024 - £2427... Sometimes I feel really bitter

Travelling whilst doing FET
Hi all, I hope you're as well as you can be. I think I'll be starting my next FET cycle in the next few weeks. Fingers crossed. Has anyone travelled on the Eurostar with injections? And has it been ok? Hoping to book a few nights' away for our 5 year wedding anniversary. I'll be on clexane for some

I caved and did a test today just to confirm what I think I already knew. I didn’t feel anything and and I’m usually pretty in tune with my body, I’ve always known when I’ve been pregnant before. This was our last shot and I’m wondering why I even put myself through all of this for such a small chance

Me or the embryos?
Hi ladies, I’d be really grateful for anyone’s thoughts. We’ve just had multiple FET failures with top quality blastocysts. Over the past few years I’ve had 4 chemicals (always before 5 weeks), maybe 6 (single faint positive with the additional 2). I want to look in to embryo testing and immune testing
