Use of Magnesium for RLS?
I realize that Magnesium has numerous benefits, including perhaps with RLS and, of course, sleep. I'm also a chronic headacher so I take Magnesium for that. However, is there any guidelines for amount of Magnesium for RLS relief?

Mineral supplement?
Hi, I was wondering if anyone gives their kiddo a mineral supplement. I know, often ADHD kids are lacking in Zinc and Magnesium. I am thinking about a mineral supplement and wondering if anyone has recommendations. Thanks!

My gp got the lab to add on FT3 yesterday and as I have hypo symptoms she said she will prescribe 25mcg levothyroxine. However, I have Graves disease and am worrying that this will make me go hyper again or, do I now have Hashi’s? History: Diagnosed with Grave’s and thyroid eye disease 1996 18 months

Need Help with Blood Test
Help with recent test results and Endo’s comments please. I received an unexpected letter advising of a future telephone appointment with my current Endo, ( GP referred ) . I took the opportunity to send him a copy of my latest test results with Medichecks, something for us to discuss I thought. Together

Flecainide and Bisoprolol as a PIP approach for Vagal Afib?
I’ve deduced I have vagal Afib as all my episodes occur without fail late evening after eating or early morning waking me from my sleep. I take 1.25mg Bisoprolol daily and 50 to 100mg of Flecainide as a pill in pocket. The Flecainide stops Afib in its track usually within one to two hours but I find

The revolution we are living through, the need for simplicity and a few controversial considerations.

Thyroidectomy / symptoms query
Hi everyone, It's been just over 3 years since I've been diagnosed with Graves Disease. After my first taper down of Carbimazole it wasn't long after dropping to 5mg EOD that I relapsed. My endocrinologist in the NHS said now it's happened once it's pretty much guaranteed it would happen again and again

Had my third kidney transplant
Hello everyone:) Happy Holidays! 2 weeks ago I received the phone call that they had a kidney for me ..this was very unexpected because I had been told throughout the whole pre transplant process that I would have a living donor through the paired exchange program. My husband would donate to someone

Research into Magnesium and RLS/PLMS
I know that the use of Magnesium to control/treat RLS is considered at best unproven and at worst controversial, but I - and various others - have found dosing with Magnesium Citrate very helpful. The studies looking into this have been much too small, and peer reviews have deemed studies inconclusive

Primary Hyperparathyroidism
I was diagnosed with osteoporosis whilst being investigated for hypercalcemia. Turns out I had a tumour on my parathyroid gland - primary hyperparathyroidism. I was told this caused my osteoporosis because the parathyroid glands control the calcium in our bodies. Mine was out of control and leaking calcium
