His MO is starting him on
lynparza
and told him to go ahead and d/c xtandi and will continue with eligard shots every 3 months. Is it typical to d/c xtandi at this time since he showed radiographic progression while on xtandi/eligard and is now MCRPC? Thanks

Tripple therapy - ADT+Lynparza+Xtandi
I just started
Lynparza
in addition to Xtandi and Loupron. I don’t have a BRCA mutation, but I was told that
Lynparza
may be beneficial regardless. I finished cycle of Jevtana (7 infusions) and Xtandi. My PSA was 0.74, but now it has increased to 2.3. All other tretments and history are in my bio.

Lynparza - warning!
Perhaps stopping
Lynparza
on March 26th would make a comeback still possible.
If you are on
, or I guess even worse,
Lynparza
+ additional hormone therapy (steroids are know to lower lymphocytes as well) please do not rely solely on monthly test results.

lynparza / olaparib
hi everyone- my dad had progression to chest wall and his hip on ibrance after about 14 months on it so he switched to
lynparza
/ Olaparib for MBC in October of 2023. He had a pet scan on 1/29 that showed a complete metabolic response.

LYNPARZA Nausea…. Any solutions and does it last?
I started
Lynparza
two weeks ago and now am frequently nauseous. My doctor prescribed zofram for that, and it helps a little but not that much. Does this nausea get better with time? Any solutions? I have thrown up every few days.

deciding whether to do pluvicto with hemoglobin around 8
Bone pain improved on
Lynparza
, but new lesion on bladder wall developed that is now causing bleeding so they had to go in and cauterize some bleeding vessels as a bandaid. On Eliquis for DVT. Hemoglobin hovers around an 8 after multiple blood transfusions.

PALB2 genetic defect-Lynparza
Oncologist recommends starting
Lynparza
in a month or two after side effects of chemo mitigate (edema, fatigue, blood clots in surface vessels in arms). My question: has anyone here taken
Lynparza
and what side effects? I still work full time and worked through chemo. Want to continue working.

lymphedema from prostate cancer, any advice on how to manage?
Since being on the
lynparza
in January both sides have swelled up as well as scrotum and everything else below the waist. He was told it was from the lymph nodes effected by cancer in the pelvis and abdomen.

Lynparza for bone/liver mets - success?
I will be switching from Enhertu (was on Enhertu for a year) to
lynparza
/ olaparib. Has anyone had success with a parp helping get rid of bone/ liver metastasis for stage 4 breast cancer? Or keeping things stable? And if so, for how long? Thanks for any info and/or experiences.

Elevated ASTs/ ALTs on Lyparza/ Olaparib
Hello everyone, My dad started Olaparib/
Lynparza
about 5 weeks ago for the BRCA2 mutation. He is tolerating it well without side effects thus far. Has anyone ever had elevated LFT's with this medication?

Hair Thinning on Lynparza
Hi lovely ladies, I’m due to stop taking
Lynparza
in 3 months, I’ll have completed two years. These last six months or so my hair has thinned considerably, I’d estimate nearly 50%. I’ve always had quite thick hair so this thinning is becoming a little distressing.

Lynparza/ Olaparib
Hi everyone- after my dad met with his oncologist regarding the mild progression he had- he will be switching to
Lynparza
/ Olaparib for the BRCA2 gene. He was on Ibrance, Letrozole, and Lupron for 15/16 months started in June of 2022, but she feels it is time for a switch.

Hair, brows and eyelashes!
But in mid Feb I had to start
Lynparza
and Avastin (Bev). About two weeks ago I noticed my lashes are falling out waaaay faster than they should normally even though I’m using a topical (Grand Lash) that is supposed to help them grow. This is so discouraging.
