Insulin resistance & Fibro
Hi everyone. Did anyone have heard about connection between insulin resistance and fibromyalgia? This leads to the next question: did anyone tried a low carbohydrate diet and seen an improvement in their fibro pains? Thanks 😊

decompensated cirrhosis - aching
Partner diagnosed 22.12.22 decompensated alcohol related cirrhosis. Stopped drinking then. Bloods slowly improving until a bit of a crisis 3 weeks ago when he was suffering from awful edema (he previously couldn't take water tablets due to low sodium). He is back home and bloods are now looking better

Okay, I had my sodium IV this morning. It is amazing! I feel like a different person. I never knew that your sodium level could cause such horrible problems. It was an easy fix. Thank goodness I have a fabulous doctor who rooted out the problem and immediately fixed it! I am really grateful. Thank you

Current guesses (borrowed from several articles, papers, and studies). I'm seeing a pattern. Comments?
Over the last few months, I've been noticing some trends, and as I spent another nearly sleepless night reading and watching videos, some of the pieces seem to be fitting together. In short, it seems that more and more theories and studies are focusing on mitochondria. In particular, a "biochemical defect

Any advice on explaining severe asthma to doctors and nurses?
I had a frustrating experience at the hospital yesterday. I've been in a bad flare that's gotten progressively worse so last week I started my at-home protocol of 50 mg of pred a day and Ventolin 3x a day. Yesterday, on day 6, I was even worse so I went to the hospital. Because I wasn't wheezing and

Imodium how often?
How often can you take Imodium to help with IBSD and how many do you take? How long before you go out do you take them? Is Loritax the same, it’s cheaper than Imodium? Thanks.

Diarrhoea every afternoon
Just asking advice. Does anyone else have diarrhoea every afternoon no matter what they have eaten? It’s been going on for months now and feel like it’s ruining my life. It’s always about half an hour ish after I’ve eaten and it’s explosive and foul stenching. I have tried all sorts. Even Imodium won
