Understanding the test results?
And reducing
Liothyronine
T3 from 50 mcg gradually down to 6.25 mcg. When I woke up this morning I felt great and still do. The headaches have gone , so has the paranoia and anxiety. Lets hope it will last.

I’m losing my mind :(
Worse still, my endo had written to my doctor when the list of meds including
liothyronine
was published to be axed by the NHS. She suggested trying 150mg thyroxine but if I became symptomatic should probably get T3 on a private prescription because of conversion issues.

Hashimotos and hair loss. Here's an update. Post H-pylori - 7 weeks later update.
I feel like i will give it another month and try taking T3
liothyronine
. bit nervous about taking it. But feel the T3 could help my hair loss - I'm on 75mg of levothyroxine at the moment. Any thoughts and advice, experiences?

Present NHS guidelines re prescribing T3?
I have now got a copy of his referral letter to the neurologist which states ".....for consideration of levothyroxine and
liothyronine
combination thyroid hormone replacement as this is currently not available on an NHS prescription."

Liothyronine and palpitations
Hi all Wonder if anyone has experienced palpitations on
liothyronine
? 5 weeks in - managed to get past the headaches, but the last 2 nights I have had awful palpitations- is this something that will go too if I persevere? Scarier than headaches!! Also taking 75mcg levo.

An interesting piece from the lancet
The total monthly cost of
liothyronine
prescriptions in August, 2013, was £758 975; this figure increased by almost ten times to £7 018 679 by July, 2018, despite 122 CCGs prescribing less

Endocrinologist cannot help you they will only prescribe Levothyroxine a T4and
liothyronine
T3. Look for a functional medicine MD or someone who has had years of helping others with Hashimoto thyroiditis. You have an autoimmune disease .

He put me on 20mcg
liothyronine
and 50mcg of levothyroxine, when I posted that here , the good people on here told me I was being set up to fail on T3 and told me what I should be taking , so took that on board and have been doing that since .

Liothyronine Blacklisted. My email has been passed on to Matt Hancock, Secretary of Health and Social care
😔 (Background, in T4/3 combo initiated by private endo, NHS GP agreed to take over prescription and then said she had been contacted by the local prescribing team (Surrey Heath) to say that
Liothyronine
has just been blacklisted and tjatbshecould no longer prescribe)

Help with results after taking T3 for 2 weeks
I have been on 100mcg of Levothyroxine for a couple of months and have just managed to get prescribed T3 (
liothyronine
). I was put on 10mcg per day as a starting dose. My results are below and I was wondering if anyone would recommend a dose increase?

Increasing activity. Do I need to increase T3 medication.
I now take 5mcg
Liothyronine
T3 twice a day after finally being diagnosed as a poor converter, after 11 years just on Levothyroxine. Plus I now take 75mcg daily.

Interesting article
They only appear to have looked at levo and not
liothyronine
or DTE.

allergy to T3 itself? input appreciated
It seems to me that my last option is try to Thybon Henning T3 from Germany, which is the only other form of T3 (
liothyronine
hydrochloride) I have heard of, thanks to this forum.

Hashimoto's - med decrease and feeling awful
I also took 5mcg of
liothyronine
(t3) at 6:30am and 2.5mcg at 1pm. Due to hyper symptoms, doc suggested I drop to 2.5mcg of
liothyronine
in the morning and afternoon. I dropped the dose a week ago and have been experiencing excruciating muscle pain, cold hands and feet, exhaustion and depression.
