Help with blood results please
I've been taking NDT since November 2016, I'm now on 2 grains per day along with 2500mcg B12 & a B complex. I'm feeling much better on the NDT but I am still unable to lose any of the 3 stone I've put on. The endo said that if I'm taking NDT & the weight still isn't moving there is something else going

Should I take Naturethroid after 34 years on Levothyroxine
I have been seeing an endo privately after being diagnosed with atrial fibrillation and being told I couldnt see an NHS endo because my t4 blood test was fine after the docs reduced my levo from 100mcg to 75mcg because they said it was the levo causing the afib. I felt really ill which is why I went

Panicky feelings and anxiety and the thyroid
Hi, I'm not on medication for the thyroid. I have this very uncomfortable issue that more resurfaced after trial with a thyroid medicine. When I get under lots of lights, my eyes get very sensitive to bright lights, my eyes dry, I get super dizzy and in some cases so dizzy that I feel I could collapse

Lots of hypothyroid symptoms and don't know what to do
Hi, I have lots of fatigue, weakness, problems with sleep (waking up in the middle of the night and being unable to get back to sleep), bad brain fog, dizziness (but not 100% of the time anymore, but when I get any kind of stress, even the smallest worried though), no stress tolerance, cold and heat

Research - TSH above 2 possibly abnormal and is associated with high cortisol
Hey guys Just found this which found that a TSH above 2 is significantly related with high cortisol in healthy men and women and therefore conclude that TSH above 2 should possibly be deemed abnormal. There was no correlation with high cortisol and TSH under two nor with T3/T4 levels. I expect this has

Looking for help and guidance on starting T3 only
Hi, I am looking for some help and guidance from you lovely people, having now run out of enough money to be able to buy meds/supps AND consult my private doctor (PD). You have been so helpful in the past :-) In March I saw a PD, he ran tests and diagnosed hypothyroidism (due to converting T4 to T3)

Adrenal situation grim?
Hello, have been relatively stable lately on hormone substitution after Graves induced TT (2014) but I have considered to have a deeper look into adrenals activity as I felt HRT, vitamins and minerals are well enough but situation stopped improving to a certain point. Latest vitamin and test are here

My body Cycles between Good Times and Bad Times
I go through cycles of good times "warm, calm, sleepy, sharp" and bad times "cold, anxious, alert-insomnia, fogy" This cycle takes around a week and mostly the bad side last longer. I couldn't find out the cause by consulting doctors. I think it is related to thyroid or adrenals which needs time to

Very high blood cortisol result. Please help :-(
I have been ill for 18 months with fatigue, weakness, dizziness on and off... thyroid was found out of range (underactive) and I have been on thyroxine for 13 months. Recent results showed TSH was 1.7, FT4 19 and FT3 5. Results yesterday showed TSH had gone up to 3.4 and FT4 17.4. So I need to speak

Low cortisol
I have been advised to post low cortisol results because I am starting Levothyroxine 25mcg and I should not be starting it if I have low cortisol? This short synacthen test was done 4 years ago, does this need to be repeated? At the time I had dizziness when standing from sitting, low weight and dark
