IEP & 504?
She has an IEP for "
learning
disabilities
". We had her privately evaluated and she was diagnosed with ADHD. We are requesting a 504 for ADHD and want to keep the IEP in place for the learning disability. The accommodations would co exist. Does anyone have experience with this?

Enjoyable museum visits
I'm helping our local museum become more welcoming to people with
disabilities
, including
learning
disabilities
. My autistic 23 year old son loved the visit, because they have a small sensory room, toys and a few exhibits that spin.

If you have a deputyship is it easier to claim disability benefits?
What's your experience been like claiming disability for
learning
disabilities
if you have an appointee or deputyship for you or the person you look after?

help … not coping
I have20 year old daughter with
learning
disabilities
and repetitive obsessive behaviors. I’ve just had holiday alone, her dad looked after her ( we are separated) I came back and he told me how bad it was and now he is going away. We are just not coping.

Understand how social care can meet needs
I am interested to know how Social/Voluntary and Informal care can meet needs of adults with
Learning
Disabilities
particularly those in residential care Any advice on how these 3 services can support would be great or if there is anyone willing to chat further I would really appreciate it
