I am getting continuous yawning every few minutes daily most of the times in the evening that too quite strongly. Is this problem due to diabetes or something else? How can this problem be cured?

Hello all, This is my first post as I've just been diagnosed pre-diabetic. I have a lot of type 2 in the family. I'm male, 68, fit, not overweight, good balanced diet, don't drink, don't smoke. I was put on Sukkarto 500mg x 1 a day last week, and feel a bit funny sometimes. Guess that's my sugar level

Is Bionic pancreas the solution?
May be a bit overthinking , as a pre-diabetic, have been hearing a lot about the bionic pancreas closed loop systems all over the internet. Seems it is targetted for chronic or type1 diabetics. But it can be a hope for all. Just like the discovery of Insulin, this will change the way people manage this

Qualified doctor for treating Type II Diabetes
Can somebody advise me which doctor should I approach for my Type II diabetes treatment? It looks like every Tom, Dick & Harry is thinking that they can treat diabetes. I am saying so because I met couple of doctors who created doubts in my mind. Despite of my efforts, my sugar level is not coming down

Shall I seek advice or wait?
I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. I have been on a plan to help with portion of food to help me. I’ve been on this plan for almost a week. I’ve cut out all sugary foods and drink and have began snacking in fruit and veg. I’ve also started to walk with my step counter. However I feel as it’s not

Role of Probiotics for managing diabetes
A new research reveals that probiotics can help in increasing insulin sensitivity. When we eat junk food the amount of good gut bacteria lessens which is one of the reasons of type 2 diabetes. So when we eat natural foods like curds, yogurt, kefir, etc. or even if we take probiotics supplements it actually

Gained to much
I have always been over weight since I can remember but it's never been this bad. I quit smoking 1 year 9 days ago and I've gained 30lbs since July of 2017. I need to lost almost 100 lbs to get what I should weigh at. I've tried the low calorie diet before and get tired of counting. Now I'm going to

Banana not rises BS level
Being a diabetic I took 10 bananas in empty stomach in morning and tested the blood sugar level after one and half hours. The value was 160 which is more or less equal to that value when I took 5 idlis and one cup of coffee.

Liver transplant waiting times.
My husband has NASH and HCC. His first liver tumour was treated by RFA. Now he has another one and he has just had TACE treatment and may still need ablation too. Although not assessed for a liver transplant, we've been asking how long the wait is. We're being told three years, is that a normal wait?
