My reaction to Crestor & Nubeqa combo. I need to make some adjustments. This study says simvastatin is best against APC. Your thoughts?
Based on these studies, do you think it's best to use simvastatin as your choice of statins? I'm using Crestor 5 mg plus 5mg Zetia and my ldl has gone down to a level, which puts me at risk of infection. Plus, my brain isnt functioning nearly as well as it used to. My current ldl is 27. This probably

ribociclib and turkey tail
Hi - is anyone taking ribociclib / letrazole and supplementing with turkey tail? I want to but my oncologist says no due to the lovastatin in the turkey tail ... but I think that's so low that it shouldn't interfere with the ribociclib ...?

What do I do?
One day the doctor changed me to
Fluvastatin
(apparently cheaper at the time) and the.'fun ' began. I felt as though every part of me was vibrating. was then put on Atorvastatin and after a while began getting weird feelings in.my.legs; feelings which I chose to.ignore for some time.

We are cured, again (again)
It was on the website, myelin.org (now defunct), that I first learned about Sobetrirome and it's role in upregulating ABCD2. I believe myelin.org was run by Lorenzo Odone's parents. It was there that I first read about Ampyra as well. But, I digress. It was originally envisaged that sobetirome

Statins & Metformin
For those interested in the full text of the recent study: https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/epdf/10.1002/cam4.2862 Of particular interest is Table 3. Note that Lovastatin did very poorly, but not many men were using it. Simvastatin, which had more users than the other statins combined, was disappointing

For those on statins: adding dipyridamole might be a good idea
In this study
fluvastatin
was used, maybe not the best option against PCA. Dipyridamole can be taken instead/with aspirin, and there is a version with aspirin in it (Aggrenox).

Help with Blue Horizon results please
Another problem, on a different note, was years of almost continuous mouth ulcers – but these have been slightly less frequent on changing to
Fluvastatin
– having worked my way through every other available type.

Over-the-Counter Adrenal Supplements: More Than Meets the Eye
A short paper reflecting on OTC Adrenal Supplements. I very much agree that proper labelling and, in so far as practicable, accurate description and assay, are highly desirable. [i]
