Avulsions fracture with RA
Hi I'm Loralie. I have had RA for 12 years and am currently on Xeljanz. I sustained an avulsions fracture this weekend and am wondering is this might have been exacerbated by the RA, meds, or perhaps a cortisone injection I received less than 2 weeks ago. Any thoughts?

Frozen Shoulder
New to forum. Recently diagnosed with frozen shoulder. This is a bummer, man. The ache was so bad that I went to an osteopath who told me that nothing could be done and that I would have to 'suck up' the pain. Had a cortisone injection five days ago but no real relief. I am having trouble sleeping.

1 month on Armour
I have now been taking Armour for 1 month and have started to feel a bit better. I am now on 2.25 grains. Still a little muscle pain, but nothing server like before. I can get up early & out off the bed now as I open my eyes without feeling sluggish. Still got a bit of tiredness in me, but had a test

Guttate psoriasis
Anyone else out there with this issue ? I've had it for about a year. I have both cll and et(essential thrombocytosis-high platelets) and am on Hydroxyurea. I don't know if this kind of chemo is making it worse or what. I have read that this type of psoriasis could be a streptococcal thing. My GP has

One Bad Night
Last night was probably one of the worst nights I've had. My hands and feet started to itch as always. Then my feet started to swell. I put cortisone in it, sometimes it helps me. But no luck last night. I put calamine on it. That didn't help. I truly tried not to scratch but I couldn't help it

ET or Asthma!
Aged 63 I was suddenly diagnosed for adult asthma as I was very shirt of breath but it turned out a year later I had ET! Jack2 positive! I have read this also causes shortness of breath. How can I know if I have asthma and not just ET symptoms! Would a spirometry test give the same result for ET? I now

Cortisone Inj in Dx of Fibromyalgia
Question- I'm currently in process of dx. Pain most of my life, more now as I age. Rheum gave me cortisone shots in my bottom as dx tool. Feeling much better. Is this common to have systemic relief this way. I'm curious as to why she gave me the shots as a diagnostic too. I don't fit the typical scenario

Cortisone injection
So I'm wondering what sort of response anyone has to extra-articular steroid injection. I had an acute bout of bursitis a few weeks back. I had an injection ( not in the joint) of depomedrol and lidocaine. I had so little change in my pain level that I went to ER. Toradol injection, naproxen and a sling

Ruxolitinib & GvHD
I've been on higher doses of cortisone the last month or so to get over a chronic GvHD in my liver, after initial improvement things have regressed, my consultant is seriously considering replacing the corticoid by Jakavi (Ruxolitinib). I'd never heard of Ruxo being used like this, anyone have any feedback
