Possible lung cancer diagnosis- looking for advice
Hi. I am looking for advice - my mum had an abnormal chest X-ray around 3 weeks ago which showed a single "mass" in her upper right lung. She had a fast track ct scan with contrast 2 days later and waited 12 days to get the results. We went to the chest clinic on Monday and the consultant said he thinks

After two negative biopsies doctors still believe is lung cancer.
Hello, my name is Marily and my father is 65 years old he's a pretty healthy active guy, but about two weeks ago he started coughing blood.. he hadn't had any pain or anything prior. We took him to the ER and every since we got in they were sure it was lung cancer. They did a X - ray and found a tumor

Trying to remain optimistic for my Dad with Small Cell Lung Cancer.. any advice is welcome.
Hi there, My Dad was diagnosed with Stage 3 small cell lung cancer at the end of May, 2016. It was found in his right lung, and in a lymph node in his neck. He has finished his rounds of chemo. He had a brain MRI done about 2 weeks ago and it thankfully came back that it hasn't spread to his brain.

Anyone on Pembrolizumab (Keytruda) Immunotherapy
Hi, I have NSC Adenocarcinoma lung cancer, stage 4, diagnosed in Jan 2016. My first treatment was Tarceva, a targeted oral chemotherapy. That was working well until recently and now have switched to Pem/Keytruda, a targeted Immunotherapy . Wondering if others out there have experienced Pembrolizumab?

A Lung Cancer Blogger's Story
I’m a long-time blogger who will celebrate the 10th anniversary of writing my first blog post this coming Christmas Day. My blog used to be about work, my family’s adventures on our sailboat, the things I knit, my daughter’s growth from teenage years through college. When I was diagnosed with stage IV

Lung Volume Reduction using Pulmonary Valves. (Revisited)
Back in November 2012, I wrote an article "Lung Volume Reduction using Pulmonary Valves. My experiences as a patient." The content of that post is still relevant, and may help some of the new members. So I decided to re-post it; Here it is:- Lung Volume Reduction using Pulmonary Valves. My experiences
