Hair loss?
Hi everyone! I’m currently taking 100mg of azathioprine daily and 50mg of colchicine. I have noticed since taking azathioprine I’ve had crazy amounts of hair loss. I used to have crazy thick hair and now it’s thin and brittle. When I put my hands through it I get a handful. Has anyone else had this happen

Would you go private?
Hi I was diagnosed with pericarditis 9 weeks ago. I pushed for colchicine as my Dr hadn’t prescribed this for pericarditis before and I have been on this now for 3 weeks. Together with naproxen and Lapsoprazole. I’ve had a hospital admission and a few a and e visits too and been off work for 9 weeks

Recently Diagnosed after 6 years!
Hey! I was recently diagnosed with Sweet Syndrome after suffering for 6 years as well as problems with my bowel along side it which now they think I may have a bowel disease and currently under investigation. I was prescribed colchicine and that didn’t do anything and then was prescribed prednisolone

Behcet's and sinus problems
This is my first post here... I was curious if anyone else with Behcet's has had sinus issues? I was diagnosed with Behcet's this past spring, though I've been showing signs since I was 21 (27 now). I am taking colchicine now to help with symptoms. When I was 16, I had surgery to correct a deviated

Chronic Pericarditis
Hi I have been suffering with pericarditis for nearly 2 years. My initial attack was in January 2018. I was taken into hospital with a suspected heart attack - very scary! After being discharges with no diagnosis I went backwards and forwards to my GP with no luck. I then eventually went private -

Fibromyalgia and sweet syndrome together?
Hi, I haven’t posted in some time. I was diagnosed with sweet syndrome last year, hospitalized and put on prednisone and I’m now on colchicine which has helped to keep the sores from getting so bad. I was wondering if there are others with both fibromyalgia and sweet syndrome as well?

Behcets in pregnancy
Hi guys, I’m 32 and been diagnosed with behcets back in 2011. I’ve been on colchicine since and prednisolone when I have flares. I found out a while ago that I was pregnant (on colchicine) and my gp freaked out and asked me to stop the medication which I did immediately. A few weeks after had a miscarriage

Looking for advice on meds and where to go next
Hi everyone, I just saw my rheumatologist who wanted to switch my meds up a bit as he no longer wanted me on prednisone (only wants me to use it when necessary) I had been taking it everyday for 10 months, but I was starting to get severe brain fog.. long story short, since being off of it my mind

Digitoxin
New study below [1]. The foxglove-related arrhythmia drugs (Digitoxin, Digoxin, Digitalis) don't crop up much in the PCa literature, although there was a post last year on: "
Sotalol & Digoxin (antiarrhythmic drugs) & PCa.

Sharing an article that I saw just now: https://www.mdlinx.com/journal-summaries/ustekinumab-beh-ccedil-et-s-disease/2019/08/15/7575654/ Might help those resistant to treatment with colchicine ? 🙃

Recurrent myocarditis
New to forum and keen to share and hear other experiences about myocarditis - particularly repeat events. I’m 44 and was hospitalised following severe chest pain last October (troponin levels 1400, confirmed by MRI to be myocarditis). Treated with colchicine and repeat MRI in March confirmed inflammation

Elevated ca125 levels/ possible liver problems?
I could use a little feedback. My ca125 levels have been going down steadily for the past five or six treatments. Unfortunately, I seem to have had issues with my heart. As I'm on avastin, it has most likely been the culprit in the ongoing developing build-up of fluid around the heart sac and the inflammation

Fibromyalgia/ Gout
Hi fellow sufferers I have had Fibromyalgia for about 10 years. During this time I have had every medicine under the sun with no real affect with releasing my pain. However just recently had to have a blood test due to my severe pain over all my body. I got an urgent call from my Gp next day as test

Snakes alive
Hi everyone, I’m recently going through the process of being diagnosed with Bechets after positively responding to colchicine and having my mouth and bottom ulcers enter into remission (I have found it does little for the pain though and muscle twitching). I’m currently lying in bed, as I’m quite dizzy

Pericarditis and recovery
Hi all, I’ve just been discharged from hospital with pericarditis. I’ve been given a few medications including colchicine. It’s being going on for a couple of weeks now and I’m still in pain. Does anyone have any advice for recovery? I’ve been told to rest and I know I cannot do any HIIT training
