Botox injections for Chronic migraine
I have suffered for 15years with
migraine
which is
chronic
now. I am due to have Botox injections into my head, I think 34 of them.. I am quite scared about having the treatment and apprehensive but I have read that it is quite successful for a lot of people.

Taking a break from Aimovig
This has happened before and after about 9 months I was back to being a
chronic
migraine
sufferer before then going back on aimovig. My real worry is that she may refuse allowing me to having it prescribed again.

Chronic migraine and chronic sore throat
Hi everyone, I was wondering if anybody is struggling (and this for years) with
chronic
migraine
and
chronic
sore throat/chronic tonsillitis. I have come to think that part of my migraines are caused by an underlying chronic infection. As usual, blood tests are fine.

Botox Day 1
After 3 years of suffering with
Chronic
Migraine
, and 3 months of waiting for my Botox - I finally had my first appointment today. I definitely underestimated how painful it was going to be, but let’s hope the pain was worth it!

How often do you have MRI scans?
I was diagnosed with a 5mm acoustic neuroma a year ago after having
chronic
migraine
and several other neurological symptoms for a few years. A month ago, I had another MRI to check if the tumour has grown. It hasn't, it's the same size.

Neurologist
I have just had an hour appointment with the neurologist, he's advised I detox from triptans and cocodamol for a month, as he thinks I've got
chronic
migraine
overuse headache. and put me on a 3 month waiting list for the new medication available.

New to group
Good morning, I just found this group online while looking for a support group for my husband’s demyelinating syndrome. I have been through the wringer with chronic back pain due to degenerative disc disease since 1989. I try not to let my pain define me, though. My new pain specialist recommended

cluster headaches
Hi I’ve been suffering for weeks with what I now know are cluster headaches. I’m in agony, I tried a treatment yesterday that you use up your nostril but you only got one dose so 4am this morning it’s back with a vengeance. The only thing I can think that started this was starting prednisone. Has anyone

Supporting evidence for PIP
I’m ploughing through the online form and it keeps saying about supporting evidence. I was diagnosed in 2021 by my then GP in the midlands over the Covid period - so not many doctor visits. Not much prescribed, using paracetamol and/or ibuprofen as and when necessary. Basically have been self-managing
