Constant bleeding
In February I had a novasure endometrial ablation. At the time my periods were heavy but regular and no spotting between periods. Since the op I have had spotting every few days and still regular heavy periods. The spotting has now got worse and is more like a continuous period. I was having the spotting

Migraine aura
I was aware that procedures involving a trans-septal puncture sometimes result in a migraine aura; as an occasional migraine sufferer, I was prepared for this. During my lie flat recovery period after the catheter ablation, I noticed that I was getting a dull area of vision in the centre of my field

Hybrid ablation. Mini-maze six months ago. Now its time for the catheter.
I am part of a clinical trial testing the effectiveness of a minimaze follwed by a catheter ablation compared to repeated catheter ablations. The minimaze was completed in April to great effect, my heart settled down after two weeks and only one short periods of AF in May since then. After two cancellations

Anyone have a Phrenic Nerve Injury after Catheter Ablation ?
I had mine on September 12th 2017 and I am still having shortness of breath. I don't know if I have been out of A Fib since about 2 days after it being done. I only think that way because when I take my blood pressure my monitor I use says there is an irregularity. I have not gone back to see my EC

TAKE HEART, A. Fibbers and A. Flutterers
I got sinus rhythm, which I got it six months ago following my
cardiac
ablation
at the City Hospital in Nottingham. I accept that my A fib might return but the longer I am in NSR the less likely this is. And Isn't this a lovely picture? The Holy Grail for all us A Fibbers and A Flutterers.

Newbie- suspected endometriosis
Hi, I'm new to this site and found it like many others looking for answers to the symptoms I'm experiencing. At nearly 47 years old it appears I'm quite old to be suffering the symptoms associated with 'endo'. I had an endometrial ablation almost 2 years ago due to suffering from very heavy periods and

Hybrid ablation part 2
I am part of a clinical trial to judge the outcomes of a mini maze procedure followed by a catheter ablation compared to two catheter ablations. I had been in persistent AF since Feb 2016, give or take a few weeks after cardioversion. I had the mini maze on April 6th. Since then I have been predominantly

Three months later and.....
I have begun to drive on my own. I do alright as long as I have someone with me. I get spells of panic when im alone. The panic is nothing like it use to be. It's more of that subtle gut feeling that something isn't quite right even though there is no way anything is wrong and your safe. House work has

Confused, miserable and in so much pain :( :(
I had no gynaecological problems at all until around 2 years ago when my periods began to be erratic, I would have 2 periods per month and the bleeding was very heavy. I was sent for a scan which revealed I had several fibroids but none particularly large. First of all the GP tried to deal with it

Feeling exhausted and breathless after PM Implant and 2nd Ablation of the AV Node
HI all: I've been researching my butt off this forum and you are all wonderful. I do this to seek answers for my Mum and I'm hoping to find some other answers / suggestions here. Thank you for listening. OK Mum, 77, Groovy, active, fit. Ablation performed July 14, 2017. PM Implant next day (Medtronic

Bronchiectasis & heart problems
I am new to this site and came across it while doing a little research on my condition! I was diagnosed with bronchiectasis in 2015 after a routine X ray showed a shadow on my lungs. I had various tests and was prescribed Azithromycin 3 times per week. I also have arrhythmia! I have had a catheter ablation

Atrial Tachycardia following Ablation for Atrial Fibrillation
I am 47 year old male in decent health (apart from this). In September of last year I went for an annual Blood Pressure test at my GPs. The nurse doing the test thought my heart rate was high and suggested I have an ECG. After having the ECG and visiting the hospital I was told I had persistent AF.

My Current Situation
Finally scheduled for a
cardiac
ablation
. It's moderately successful but only clears up part of the issue. Three months later, bedridden and alone, useless, and unloved, I swallow 20+ Percocet prescribed for back pain, which has plagued me since 2002 (and worse yet since 2008).

Pramipexole and Benzodiazepine taper.
I no longer take

ablation
last November to help get off Cardizem. Also have refused statins all along (what a battle), off lisinopril, off long and short acting insulins, off asthma meds ( no attacks).

I am new here - Mucous Membrane Pemphigoid and Mycophenelate
I was diagnosed with AF in 2000 and eventually had a successful
cardiac
ablation
in 2011. At a similar time I was diagnosed with Mucous Membrane Pemphigoid (MMP) which is basically an incurable autoimmune blistering disease.

Fatigue following catheter cryo ablation
11 years ago I developed Atrial flutter for two years and 3 flutter ablations then went on 6 months later to develop paroxysmal atrial fibrillation 9 years ago Typically I would have an arrhythmia every two months for 8 hours. 8 months ago I was assaulted by a stranger and quickly developed PAF every
