New to this
Hi I’m new to this world of laxatives I really am finding the whole thing confusing, it is worse that I’m in France and my doc doesn’t speak much English, my French is ok but it’s hard when you are trying to talk health. I have diverticulitis which I was to,d 25 years back, it hasn’t bothered me much

Anyone been diagnosed with IBS even with raised calprotectin?
Hi, I’m pretty new here. I’ve recently (Last 6 weeks) been suffering with constant stomach pains and cramps. I’ve been going to the toilet only once a day, but stool is very soft and occasionally has mucus. I’ve never seen blood. Bloods have come back fine but fecal calprotectin was 722. I’ve been referred

Changing medication?
Hi! Over the years I've been on a variety of antispasmodic medications - alverine citrate, some others I can't remember (!) and now I'm on mebeverine. When I switched onto mebeverine, my GP at the time said that it's helpful to switch every now and again because your body gets used to the medication

Bisoprolol Fumarate or Nebivolol to avoid ED
Nebivolol / Bisoprolol Fumarate. I’ve been on 5mg Bisoprolol Fumarate during the last 5 years or so. I started experiencing weak erections. I didn’t payed attention at the beginning as I thought it was due to daily working stress and any other regular effect from the life routine but the problem grew

Success with chronic constipation finally?!
If your child has very severe chronic constipation and particularly if they are older I highly recommend seeking an appointment with a paediatric consultant who specialises in the

so you can discuss whether

would help.

Blood in stool
I am again feeling super anxious. I have twice had fresh blood in my stool the last two evacuations. I had a colonoscopy 5 months ago due to a positive FIT test and it came clean.

I am a long term rls sufferer and I need help dealing with my condition. I was on gabapentin for about 9 years but the condition just steadily got worse. After a neurological consult, I was given ropinirol & clonazapan. Results were variable at best. Due to side effects, I stopped taking clonazapan.

Toilet is Bright Red with Blood
Every day for about a week now, I am bleeding a lot when I poop. The toilet is bright red with blood and it sticks to bottom of the toilet. In May, I had the same issue of pooping blood for two weeks straight and could only do a virtual visit with a doctor that advised me to drink Metamucil and wait

Blood in stool one time - puzzled
Hi I had a "minor" blood-in-stool episode, and while the doctor advises that it may be a one off (no further visible symptoms) but is going to seek further advice, I wondered if anyone here has had a similar experience. This followed a spasm- attack late the previous night. I get these from time to time

Rucaparib, info and experiences please
I've had 4 doses of carboplatin - this knocked down my CA125 from 1190 to 90 after the third, don't know if its gone down again since my last infusion 10 days ago yet. The cancer was active in lymph nodes in the mesentery, pelvis and peritoneum; I had a CT scan after the third infusion which showed
