best treatment for stress induced fibromyalgia with RA ?
looking at taking some meds, doc has suggested sertraline
antidepressants
, but I am not sure they are more a long term thing. amytriptyline seems to be used but it looks like a complicated drug with side effects..anyone got any experience with these drugs.

anti depressants and prednisone.
Is anyone taking
antidepressants
while on prednisone? I’m currently on 9 mg I’ve been on them at various times, but not since I got PMR/GCA. Everything seems to be piling up and I’m having difficulty. I have a therapist, we do phone calls, she’s in Florida and I’m in California.

I'm struggling
I've had my
antidepressants
dose increased recently and about to start cbt. I just need to talk to someone who has had a similar experience and understands how I am feeling. I feel like a total different person too, even down to taste changes. The Fatigue is so so awful.

Enough with the ADHD!
I’m FINALLY trying a series of
antidepressants
, but none seem to agree with my brain (or, I wonder if they react with the ADHD meds). Honestly, I don’t care about treating the ADHD. I’ve lived with it for decades. It’s part of who I am.

For context, he is 30, and has taken
antidepressants
for many years without any increase in symptoms. He has also been taking amipiprazole for over 6 weeks without any issues, and this has actually improved his mental health.

Women are not taken seriously by most doctors when experiencing health problems.
I was already on
antidepressants
, and had been for many years. He told me to stop taking them, and then after two weeks, he would prescribe a different one! I always thought you had to wean off them gradually, or titrate with a new one.

antidepressants and liver disease
I have severe liver fibrosis and have had to start taking Escitalopram for depression. My doctor has put me on 15mg but instructions and websites say patients with liver disease should be on no more than 10mg. Anyone else taking this dose or higher which has been approved by your consultant please?

Side effects of antidepressants
Can the side effects last for a long time - like 4 weeks. When does the antidepressant actually start to work and do the side effects disappear?

Tough sleep
I don't really know why I started sleeping so bad. I have insomnia off and on but this last one has lasted. It seem to start about the time my gerd kicked in after I stopped an antidepressant Paxel. I tried going back on but this time side affects were bad, tried 4 others with same problem. Now on

Hi everyone, I'm in a desperate situation which I am sure a lot of you can relate to. Quickly, my story: At 24 years old, I have had severe period pains since I started menstruating 12 years ago. Cramps in lower tummy, back, and most painfully, all down my legs, front and back. The leg pains have

Feeling purposelessness
I am just still struggling with the feeling that there really isn't any point to me being here. I go to work and then do some programming stuff but a lot of times I am just staring at my phone trying to fill the time between myself being awake and asleep. I struggle with motivation a lot. But mostly,

So I spoke to the pharmacist who had expressed concern about my pain management... Amitriptyline + pregabalin are now thefirst line treatments for neuropathic pain. Apparently, they both work synergistically and: voila ! PaIn AlL gOnE ! I explained that initially, I was on pregabalin for rls and that
