Any advice please

She actually researched it herself & rang me at home to tell me not to take it. So that I can prepare for my

Hi Again, (this is a followup to a previous post) So I went to see my regular doctor as a couple of you had suggested. I explained about waking up hot and cold while taking the Plaquenil and Amitriptyline and feeling worse than ever lately. The doctor printed out the letter sent to her from the Rheumatologist

I'm awaiting my second laparoscopy, supposed to be within the next 3 months. Past few days, as well as my usual pain in my left side, back, bum and abdomen, I've had extreme pain in my ribs. I couldn't sleep with it last night, it was throbbing so much, worse if I was on my back. Has anyone experienced

I was originally diagnosed about 4 years ago with Erythema Nodosum but changes in lower leg lesions were recently reassessed and a new diagnosis for Morphea. This is an addition to other autoimmune conditions. Originally prescribed steroid cream for lesions and amitriptyline to aid sleep as legs painful

New endo appointment.
Following on from my previous post, I saw a different endocrinologist last night with a view to asking for a T3 trial due to my high T4/low T3 result. He was very pleasant and easy to talk to - unlike the previous one! I explained I was experiencing fast heartbeat, sweating, difficulty sleeping etc

New to forum
Hi all! I'm new to this forum and just wanted to share my story and see if it is a familiar story to others with a diagnosis. Essentially I'm in search of a diagnosis and have been 'around the houses' over the last 2 years. Prior to this I was very fit - competing in numerous triathlons. It all seemed

Steroids and Hashi's
We saw a consultant privately as no Endo appts available soon in Norwich & getting desperate. he prescribed a 3 week course of prednisolone in an attempt to reduce the inflammation and let the Hashi's get on with destroying wifey's thyroid. 20mg/day, then 10mg, then 5 mg over 3 weeks. Helen takes Paroxetene

Happy New Year, resolutions, or not, and tapering
Happy New Year everyone and here's hoping that 2019 will bring better health for everyone. I've been running through, and discarding new resolutions in my head.
