How do you work out your percentage through the range please?
0.27 - 4.2 R 2.4 mIU/L FREE T3 3.1 - 6.8 R 3.7 pmol/L FREE THYROXINE 12 - 22 R 12.6 pmol/L How do you convert your results into a percentage of the total range please? I thought you took the top of the range figure as 100% then worked out 1% then multiplied by the result but I don’t think

Help boosting thyroid without medication?
Hello all I have posted before as my thyroid function is poor but always comes back in range (my TSH never rises even with low levels) so no chance of medication on the NHS (other than statins for high cholesterol which I refuse). I did some recent tests TSH 1.95 (0.27-4.2) T4 14.6 (12-22) T3

Thoughts please!
I am still struggling terribly to tolerate any doseage of levo or lio - combo or mono. It makes me feel even worse/is completely debilitating. I have tried changing when I take the doses, the brand etc you name it and still no better. It’s notable that my blood pressure gets too low on it too. Am I

Vacation from ADT
I searched but only came up with vacations at two years or so. I had a meeting with my MO today. He is conservative but suggested I could stop the meds. I was complaining of brain fog. He said to stop the Abi for about three weeks to see if there is any improvement and if not, stop Lupron. My story

Surgeon in Liverpool as requested thyroid bloods and thyroid antibodies 🤗
Hi everyone ❤️ Just posting this, as some members who have been following my struggle with thyroid medication these past 4 years, I decided to discontinue the T4 teva, the silly endo put me back on after taking me off the t3 which was not working due to gastric issues, forgetting also that teva t4 did

Sensitive - How long does it take to get a negative pregnancy test after miscarriage?
Hi all, I took medication for a miscarriage on Dec 23rd (due to a empty 3cm sac). I was told the hcg pregnancy test should be negative 3 weeks after, which will be Saturday. I took the HCG test this morning and the test line is still almost as dark as the control. I was expecting the test to be negative

Iron Deficiency and Iron Deficiency Anemia: Potential Risk Factors in Bone Loss
Members are likely all too familiar with patients being told that they are suffering osteopenia or osteoporosis due to having too much thyroid hormone. And, especially, too much T3. While it is important to realise that there is a case to be made regarding excess thyroid hormone, it is just as important

ADT and bone health
I am 79 in exceptional physical condition. I have been on ADT after radical Prostatectomy for over 14 months and to date aside from the sexual libido loss I have had very little side effects. I have always been a health / exercise buff & continue to exercise everyday to maintain my mental & physical

Infertility and endo options
Currently starting second round of IVF (x2 embryos in round 1 with x1 negative pregnancy test and x1 embryo left frozen) with endo still on uterosacral ligaments, pelvis and bowel vaginal wall. Been trying to find consistent & clear guidance whether to have remaining endo removed before further embryo

Thybon Henning 20mcg T3 from Roseway
just posting this for comparison. I just had a private phone appointment with Roseway labs (£35) cheaper appointment as it’s a repeat, first appointment is £55. I will be trialling 10mcg T3 split 5/5 she suggested Thybon Henning (lactose free). 100 tablets for £60 via private prescription to cut into

Interpret test results - advice please
I've been on 75 mcg levothyroxine since 23 August 2023. I've taken levothyroxine since January 2023. Is this the correct dosage now? I've never had any of the conventional hypothyroid symptoms, except for extreme anxiety and disregulated nervous system, gut issues and tinnitus. On the 75mcg I feel

Goitre and antibodies but bloods all fine
Hi, I developed a fairly big lump in my neck in July 23. Did the 2 week wait thing and had an ultrasound and saw an ENT consultant. They diagnosed a thyroid nodule and said it looked normal with no need for FNA. Consultant asked for endo to see me and I am still waiting for this or any acknowledgment

Levo being reduced, but feeling under medicated.
Hi, I would greatly appreciate some input on my test results! I have been hypothyroid for over 17 years, and have always adhered unquestioningly to the doctor’s guidance, assuming that they were doing all they could. Having found this site, however, I am starting to wonder if there is more that can

Questions about progesterone and prostate cancer
My onco continues to resist prescribing low dose E2 to help minimize some of my ADT SEs. Following my last appointment he suggested progesterone as an alternative. - Has anybody here had success with using progesterone while on ADT? - Any reasons to steer clear of progesterone? Thanks

Genetic test positive
In November 2023 my iron labs were increased. Ferritin 117 TSAT 58 my doctor said we would retest in six month and do genetic testing but wasn’t concerned. My results just came in and it showed homogenous for H63D. I haven’t been able to speak with him yet. I am extremely scared.
