I’m currently taking levothyroxine - 75 4 days a week and 100 3 days a week. Latest test results are T4 21.7 and TSH 1.92. Time to change my dosage or continue? I can’t get an appointment with anyone sensible now for over a week

Hypothyroid for 30 years
I've been Hypothyroid for 30 years, I take Levothyroxine 100μg during the night - to keep it separate from all the other meds I have for other conditions. I follow the advice that certain foods are 'not helpful' for a hyperthyroid condition (Brussel sprouts, Cauliflower - which I have very occasionally

Symptoms fluctuating
I am positive for Trab, TPO and Tg antibodies. I had Graves, was treated with carbi (didn't need high doses), went into remission and stopped carbi as per endo advice about 7 months ago (after 14 months of treatment), was ok for a few months and now, instead of suffering a hyper relapse as I thought

Sublingal Levothyroxine
Just a simple question? Has anyone tried taking their levothyroxine sublingually and, if so, how did it go? (Just something Westin Childs suggested trying to potentially improve absorption) Must admit, I kind'a feel it might mean your body would react to the intensity of that one hit in a negative

2 levothyroxine questions
1. The recommended dose for levothyroxine is 1.6mcg /kg of body weight. Are most thyroid patients on this dose? 2. If I wanted to switch from T4/T3 combination to only T4 medication to check if my conversion has improved after making healthy changes for a year, how long would I have to be on T4 only

Advice please
Hello, hypothyroid here, currently taking 225mg levothyroxine daily. Visited the Dr (NHS) last week for a few ongoing issues, including a lump in my neck (just right of neck centre) and was seen primarily by a student Dr who’s findings were then discussed/assessed with GP. Very convinced it’s a goitre

Does anyone know where can I source a trusted brand of levothyroxine?
Hi all, I am having a problem with 'brand's of levothyroxine prescribed by GP which comes in a weekly blister pack. Each week, I have no idea if I am getting consistent brand because there is no info on blister pack as to what the brand is. My levo dose could be 50 or 75 depending thyroid test results

Another 8 weeks on. Advice, please
Hi everyone. Background: I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism some years ago, but only discovered last November (2023), thanks to the forum, that I have an atrophied thyroid. Also, upped my dose of Levothyroxine in early October from 100 mcg Levothyroxine 3 times a week and 125 4 times a week plus 10mcg

Secondary hypothyroidism
Has anyone had problems with central hypothyroidism and their tsh going to zero. Doctor refusing to raise levothyroxine because it will suppress tsh to much but my free t4 really needs a raise. Does a low tsh really cause afib and osteoarthritis or is this false.

Medichecks results, please advise
Hi Everyone, posting my 1st ever private blood tests. Please can anyone comment, I'm quite new to this. The results came with a Dr's overview, so I'll be taking Vit D supplements but the other results appeared 'normal'. What do you think? And do the autoimmunity antibodies indicate Hashimoto's or am

Test results show no inflammation
I posted here 4 months ago and got my blood tested by the GP. There are no inflammatory markers in my blood, but I have a constant sore throat and dry eyes which are also beginning to suffer with high pressure. I am paying privately to have my eyes checked out by a specialist, but I just wanted to check

Advice on new bloods following T3 trial - Improvement in T3 😃 but v low TSH 🙁
My latest blood tests are below. I’ve had these done as I’m due for annual GP bloods in a week and wanted to know more than simply my TSH. I’ve been trialling T3 (sourced privately) and this has made a big difference, my % through range is much improved. I’ve been feeling better - less exhausted, fewer

Further thyroid bloods advice needed.
Hi everyone I'm looking a check on my recent blood results. For context I am focused on improving my thyroid results and symptoms for general wellbeing and also in relation to fertility. I introduced some T3 over the past 6weeks but from bloods I can't see that it has improved my bloods too much. Symptom
