feeling guilty for breaking my no drinking
Ivf happening in January. I’ve been so good for months and months, no alcohol, fertility diet, supplements, yoga, accupuncture - the lot. It was husbands birthday and he organised a big get together with friends. We both got absolutely drunk, I’d kind of figured before hand there was absolutely no

The Mind Body Connection with APS and any autoimmune disease
Hi again, I’m an Osteopath, Naturopath, Medical Acupuncturist etc and it took 20 years for me to get an APS diagnosis. I was initially diagnosed as having depression, CFS/ME and begrudgingly POTS. I take my Warfarin. I try hard to stick to my INR. My life is very restricted due to fatigue and pain.

anxious, miserable, scared of menopause, sick of waiting, dieting and thinking about it
Hi everyone hope you’re ok. I am 40 in 6 months time. I have one failed round of ivf behind me ( three eggs didn’t make it to blastocyst due to egg quality) that was in august. I had a horrible experience with the nhs after that after being told I wasn’t eligible for another cycle. I fought this

Endo - Anti-Inflammatory Diet and Supplements for Pain Managment and Fertility
I am also starting
acupuncture
in the next couple of weeks. This all has not been the easiest of transitions. However I hope it will be worth it. I am just wondering if anyone else has done something similar? Did it help with pain management and with fertility?

Acupuncture, ET and Platelets
Does anybody have any experience/knowledge/ know of any research in relation to lowering platelets especially with
acupuncture
? I had
acupuncture
in the past to help with pain and fatigue etc but that was not ET related.

First IVF cycle disappointment
I have thrown everything at this over the last 12 months (
acupuncture
, diet, supplements) and I just feel so deflated and upset at the outcome so far. I suppose I’m looking for positive stories or reassurance that what I’m feeling is normal in this awful process. X

osteoporosis and spinal fractures
I have been having physio, hydro,
acupuncture
, using heat pads etc, but nothing seems to help. I am just so fed up, really struggling to know what exercises are safe, I’ve been told that bone density is worse in my hips than my spine.

FET News & Advice
I started
acupuncture
3 weeks ago which has really helped with relaxing and generally feeling better, but wondered if anyone had any advice on things to do or eat during a FET? 😊

Do those with thin linings have light periods?
I have been having weekly
acupuncture
since October 2023. I walk a lot and exercise regularly, dry brush, castor oil packs, eat beetroot soup and bone broth daily. Has anyone else had thin lining, light periods but been successful? Thanks

3 rounds of ivf and only 2 3BC's. Not sure what to do next?
I have been doing
acupuncture
, no caffine, no alcohol, watching my diet etc. Does any one have any similar stories or suggestions? I have been thinking of changing clinics too - somewhere in Europe as I can't afford the UK. Any clinics people know of that are good for over 40s single women?

Ectopic and 2 failed IVF
I started doing
acupuncture
for a few months until my cucle was regular and I knew I was ovulating again. I had a progesterone test to check this. I also had my AMH checked again and it had gone from 11 to 6. I did 6 months of DHEA and Ubiquinol, which got it back up to 11.

Has anyone had a second AMH test and seen a positive increase?
Sorry for all the posts - you can tell I’m anxious about this 2WW! But one other question I’m keen to ask and hear your experiences on is whether anyone with low AMH has had a second blood test and seen it increase? It’s something my fertility acupuncturist suggested we might want to do given my low

I recently posted about

Regenerus cortisol results - help interpreting
I've seen a Chinese doctor for the last year and had
acupuncture
and herbs, and sleep is a lot better now than it used to be, only rarely getting that night-time 'high'. I'm a bit of a zombie in the mornings and afternoons though (which I guess is all day really..??).

Hello, admin asked me to introduce myself...
Hello all. I am diagnosed with autoimmune hypothyroidism since around 2010. (Although, at that time the diagnosis was hypothyroidism, no mention of antibodies.) Back then, I didn't even have any symptoms in the first place (that I was aware of,) and was prescribed levothyroxine. I would say that to

It has been suggested
acupuncture
- no help. Change of diet - no success so far and I am already on a very strict diet. My thyroid was removed in May last year and the problem started around September.
