A weird dynamic.

When I make a positive change in my supplementation or activity there is a three day +- uptick as my body is getting more of what it needs. This is followed by a downturn of 5 +- days which I assume is my body healing which is hard on my body and I need a lot of rest. This dynamic was not apparent until 8 months ago when I worked with the hypothesis that B12 injections were only effective for my healing my body was limited to 6 hours per injection. I have since determined that 3 to 4 hours is the most effective along with other discoveries.

I have come to trust the positive changes I have made, my ability to determine that a change is positive. Thing is that the 5 +- days of downturn after 3+- days of uptick are hard emotionally. During these 5+- days I experience emotional issues which include, can I heal by eating leafy greens etc., is this improvement all in my head and should I just follow the EOD method and wait, should I just modify the EOD method a bit and wait, am I experiencing a placebo effect, will I ever heal, is healing possible, am I supplementing in such a way to make things worse as I am not following anywhere near the standard understanding, is there something else that is 'wrong' with me or my body, is there a cofactor or some other compound that would make a major difference? And most strong is why has it taken me so long to understand what I needed to do so I would heal.

This is not similar to the roller coaster of under supplementing B12 1.5 mg every day.

Current Trial; (5 Days); 1.5mg methylcobalamin 3mg/ml, 1.5mg adenosylcobalamin 3mg/ml, 1mg hydroxocobalamin 1mg/ml. SC injection 5-6-7 times a day including injecting in the night if I wake up. 50 mg B6 in the form of P-5-P, B1 three times a day or pain from peripheral neuropathy returns. B1 300 mg three times a day in the form of Benfotiamine.

The addition of B1 12 +- days ago seems to be life changing and I am still in the discovery phase of that change and will move to exploration and then design.

I have always had the feeling that some changes I have made were positive even with the 5+- days of downturn. In part as I never return to feeling as I did prior to the change.

I have in the recent past come to trust more that the 3+- days of uptick is a very strong indicator of the positive experience I will have after the 5+- days of downturn. Prior to that it was a matter of trusting that I am on solid ground intellectually and I need to continue the change to reasonably evaluate the efficacy even though I am experiencing a downturn. That trust comes from experience it is far from absolute.

If I were to push physically for three days I would experience the same three days of uptick followed by the 5+- days of downturn. That I feel can be better handled by pacing where under supplementing does not lend itself to sneaking up gradually on a deficiency. That is a matter of just suffering longer. In my experience.

I have better handle now on how hard to push physically and emotionally. Life does sometimes get in the way. Nothing for it. Right now in New Hampshire there is not enough sun energy to heal.

The wild card is sun energy which I cannot always experience. I have been working with the concept of sun energy with focus for 10+- years including two trips to South America. (I got sun energy for three months and was able to use up my B12 in a way that has not been possible since I was in my late 20's in Florida.)

It is impossible to differentiate between the effects of sun energy and supplementation. I do know that my being sun energy deprived is nowhere near as severe as prior to supplementation.

So the weird dynamic is the 3+- days of uptick is an indicator of how I will feel 5+- days later.

This is not similar to when I was experiencing 'reversing out' which was experiencing pain and distress that I have never experienced before prior to under supplementation. The reversing out severity may be an indicator of how some of us are different and need more robust self treatment. It has not been studied and the standard understanding consists of ya that happens EOD is all you can do or maybe modify the EOD a bit and live with permanent damage which may not be permanent with better self treatment. That has not been studied for reasons unknown and a failure of those that get paid to study and treat.

I am done with trying to correlate my self treatment with standard treatment or even other peoples self treatment. Success is the reason. I still consider everything I do not make choices based on what others believe. I do very much gain from others that share. Those that parrot what is thought to be true are helpful in that it leads to me evaluating what might be true and is accepted as science when it is not.

I am in agreement with those that get paid to study and treat they have yet to come up with any data that leads to better treatment. I have.

As I write here I have come to understand that in the last 6 months the uptick has been consistent and the severity and duration of the downturn has gradually lessened.

Edit: I came to understand that researchers have discovered though testing in the laboratory cofactors involved. It is the physician's responsibility to determine how and when to supplement and they suck at it. The difference between science and applied science. The physicians are not even making a half assed attempt at improving treatment.

There is a test for B1 but it is not typically done and the one used can not be relied on. Both with B6 and B1 the best way to find if you are deficient is a trial. I have established that absorption issues at least now do not prevent me from experiencing improvement with oral B1 and B6.

Well that is most definitely a positive Plus.

It will never be consistent, I know now from experience. Sun light/ vitamin D from direct sun does improve me no end… together with the regular injections and oral supplements in liquid form. When one day differs from another in how much emotion and activity and sunshine or not, changes how I feel, it’s never the same old me.🤷🏼‍♀️

Hey ACritical,

Do you inject Vitamin D?

I studied Vitamin D about 10 years ago prior to the advent of D3 with K2. At that time all Vit D accomplished was a blood test in range.

I have it worked out so I know when I have enough sun energy and Vitamin D3 and K2. I have also observed the effect of sun energy on others. Vitamin D3 and K2 is no substitute for sun energy.

When in Ecuador people would express that their fingernails grew more with enough sun energy. At first I dismissed that. Then a guy in Ecuador who cuts his nails every week out of habit as a water polo player stated that in Ecuador he can tell his fingernails grow more. I have since found that to be true.

My gray hair also turns yellowish if I have enough sun.

I have spent much time outside and you can get sun energy on a overcast day if you are out for 8 hours in the direct sun. It was not until my work was more at the computer that I got sun deprived although I did not understand it at the time.

I skied in the winter and had enough sun energy.

My body acts consistently if it has enough sun with regards to sun energy. It has just been cloudy here as of late. Healing from B12 etc takes a lot of sun energy.

Reflected sun off the water or ice is 'better'. There is a difference between morning sun, mid day sun and late afternoon sun. I need all three.

Tanning booth does not give me sun energy nor does blue light. It does make the transition to having enough sun energy easier and quicker once there is enough sun energy available.

I now experience times where the effect of emotion, sun energy and physical exertion results in just being tired. That is where I am headed.
