Just started c25k this week. Never run in my life ( unless for an ice cream van ) . Just had all clear after stem cell transplant so decided to get fit and loose weight . Oh my god it’s hard , knees really hurt after yesterday , think I just run really badly not naturally like people I see , but determined to complete . Any help with advice particularly on k EE’s would be great

Welcome to the forum and well done on getting started.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5... and includes advice on pacing, minimising impact, stretching after every run and knee strengthening exercises, which will all help.

You can do this.

Enjoy your journey.

well done for making a start strugglingsurvivor welcome to the programme . As a relative newcomer myself, I have found the support and advice on this forum really helpful so keep checking in

my advice - take each run as it comes dont look too far ahead , slowly slowly, drink lots water and take your rest days. Its often recommended to look up online “japanese slow jogging” which lots of people on here have found beneficial

good luck😊
