My grandaughter had brittle asthama so pred was used a lot - and every time they tried to reduce it in the usual way she would flare up again. I persuaded her mother to do it slower - and they got to much lower doses than ever before. And the brittle asthma has resolved since she became a vegan - milk didn't agree with her as a baby but the idea was poo-pooed. Her vegan diet isn't stellar, bit vegan junk, but she is so much healthier it isn't true!

So glad she is better! Slow and steady seems to be a good approach on reducing for many of us!
