Is it common to continue ADT treatments, like Lupron or Eligard, while receiving Pluvicto therapy?

Just curious…I was under the impression that in order to get Pluvicto you had to have had chemo and ADT (Lupron) but not that you must currently be on Lupron ?…

Some kind of ADT. It is only approved for mCRPC so far.

After looking at my husband's profile, what Adt should we request since he has already been on Aberatone, Xtandi and Erleada over a year ago.

ADT is androgen deprivation therapy, such as Lupron. Firmagon, Orgovyx, or orchiectomy.

Well unfortunate for me, I was going in for my 4th Pluvicto and my oncologist wanted me to do a bone and CT scan so I did. The small tumor in my liver has significantly in large as have a couple of bone Mets. He did not want me to take any other meds with Pluvicto. Bad news for me. Any suggestions. The Pluvicto was working on some areas such as the lymph-nods I also have not had Chemo.

yes also use xtandi or nubeqa as well that’s call triplet therapy. best treatment option

Absolutely! I am on Lutetium 177 and I am still taking Zoladex (goserelin). Since diagnosis in 2013, I have been receiving my every three month injections of Zoladex for nearly eleven years. In my experience that the ARPI drugs (like Xtandi and Zytiga) seem to come and go but the Lupron type drugs live forever (sigh).

Do you have any mutations? Seems Pluvicto works for guys with no Germline or Genome mutations

There we go, Lu 177 is a progression disaster for people with mutations, seems odd no studies on that yet.

Agreed. Before people pile on you for simply being "negative" about Lu177, here is a 2018 (4 years before FDA approval of Pluvicto!) source for them (sorry, just the abstract - the paper isn't free):

You echo my overall concern that the medical community has relied too much on initial treatment studies and doesn't have coordinated data collection while the new treatments are rolled out into the wider population.

Any research, studies and / or trials on people with Germline or Genomic mutations that had Lu-177 Pluvicto? I would really like to read that instead of all the hyper progression stories on group pages online with guys with mutations
