I used to be very overweight and used to get extra hair in places where typical for men . Chest , lower back, and face . The doctor told me I had more testosterone than a woman usually has and that might of explained the lack of periods and hair problems .
Fast forward I lost a lot of weight naturally and the hair growth on chest lower back stomach has nearly stopped all together but my face could easily grow a beard and day 2/3 of not removing is like of a man stubble and very coarse .
Since losing weight my periods have all worked its self out and am regular I haven't gone back to the doctors as I don't really want too and if I am honest never told my gp how bad my facial hair was . Any one else suffer with this?

It could be worth going back to your GP and discussing this..to find out the exact cause.
‘Hirsutism is where women have thick, dark hair on their face, neck, chest, tummy, lower back, buttocks or thighs. See a GP if it's a problem for you. It might be caused by a medical condition that can be treated.’
It could be what’s called polycystic ovary syndrome. It’s the most common hormone disorder among women. Those symptoms match what I had. I encourage you to read about PCOS, and talk to your gynecologist.
