Hi Patrick

A high fibre diet doesn't suit everyone, but a good diet I have found good results from is the blood group diet.

Depending which group you are some foods are toxic to your body and your body has to fight the effects of the food and stops doing it's normal routine making it sluggish and not loosening weight!

I found out through the diet that blood group O are wheat intolerant and it is causing my psoriasis to flare up!

I also suffer with osteoarthritis and the change in diet has really helped my joints aren't as swollen or painful, my chiropractor noticed a big difference in just 4 weeks!

I think you can access it through this sight, if not just type in blood group diet into search engine

Hope it helps, take care

Hi Patrick1,

I'm wondering just why you want a high-fibre diet.

The best diet for losing weight is one that has a lot of variety and is well balanced across the main food groups and that provides the full range of nutrients.

Assuming that your weight reduction efforts result in you actually taking in a lesser amount of food overall, then it becomes more important that the reduced amont of food provides all your nutrition needs.

Plenty of good and free advice on the NHS Choices live well pages and check out the stuff about the eatwell plate.

Good luck with your weight loss efforts.
