Posting as Xmas for me is a good but hard time too. I lost 1.5 stone this year and then due to work changes, my focus drifted and I put it back on again. (my director was made redundant along with a ton of other people at work & I decided enough was enough and for a new job starting next year.) I’m currently weighing just under 13 stone.
I’m struggling with getting into a routine with work, meals - everything! - and struggle abbot in the winter months. I know exactly what I need to do but sometimes can’t make that first step. So, coming into this forum to be vulnerable and to help me make those first steps.
fasting (intermittent) really helps me so starting that again today.
I’ve broken down down my weight loss into:
1) Jan 31: 11. 8 stone
2) Feb 28: 10.10 stone
3) March 31: 9.13 stone
4) April 15*: 9.9 stone (this is my best pals wedding)
5) April 30: 9. 7 stone
welcome comments and motivational cheer

I suggest logging in to the Daily Diary: it's a great place to help with planning and to share ideas. Also, you could join the Weekly Weigh In and get to know the rest of the Monday weigh in gang who'll join you on your journey.
We find participation is key to success and sharing the support and encouragement really helps, so I hope we'll see you around
Hello Glowup, I’m a recent returner to this site too. I’m a lot older than you and retired from a full-on career (yay!). I walked away from a 40 year relationship around the same time and live happily alone. However, food has been my comforter, my consolation and celebration. Consequently my weight and dress size have steadily risen. Low carb/high protein makes sense to me; I have experimented with I F but it doesn’t make any difference, nor does higher water intake. Your weight loss plan seems ambitious, but you know your own body and what is possible for you. Are you calorie-counting?
Well done for your weight loss this year! I’m sure you can get back into those habits you’ve learned especially when you’re up and running in your new job. 😊
