Unsure what this VS diet is but I can’t be controlled by a strict eating regime . From your posts you seem to be weighing yourself daily . I used to do this and it almost broke me. Now once a week only . Ensure this isn’t starvation or you can’t maintain. I also need a social life which is near impossible if I get a sheet of near impossible foods to replicate . I would key all these into a free app like MyFitnessPal which will give you an indication of whether what you are embarking on is actually good for you and sustainable,

Maybe its just me but I feel a little uneasy that an underwear company is stepping over the line into what we’re eating, and what size/shape we are. I’d like to think their job is to make lingerie which makes us all feel good, sexy if that’s what we’re aiming for, comfortable in our own skin. It reeks to me of body shaming, ’we’re not good enough to wear their knickers if we have imperfect bodies. I really thought we were getting past all that.🤔(I’m certainly not criticising blueladysings for her food choices or weightloss aspirations).

I don't think it's the underwear company that has chosen the VS diet ,from what I've gathered it's just the way the models have chosen in order to stay in good shape. BTW the models are all in their late teens and early 20s what looks good at that age would definitely make me look scrawny.

I was 46kg in my early 20’s and age does make a difference. 5 children too . There is no comparison if most of those models are very young . As we get older nutrients are important . I have slim friends but despite this some - not all aren’t healthy . I am now looking at the whole of my health / blood pressure, bone density , cholesterol, I am not starving myself . I feel exercise , walking if we can is under estimated. If I embarked on a regimented “diet “ I would really look at content and volume of foods . Some allow snacks which are hard to ditch as our body gets used to them . My parents weren’t overweight and lived a long life . They didn’t snack and looking at the food they ate - unprocessed and very balanced .

I just want take some elements, I suffer with anaemia and low calcium.

I try to eat healthier and the VS diet seems healthy. No fried food, salads no salt or sugar.

So where will you be getting the iron and calcium in your diet?

I want to eat 1500cal per day

1500 cals - I would put all into the basic free Myfitnesspal app which will give you guidance on nutrients . Include every drink , don't minus anything off for any exercise . Doable if you have 3 good balanced meals a day , plenty of water . I did 400 , 500 , 600 cals for a few months but found I was eating the same meals . Great if you eat everything at home and have an exercise regime like Zumba , swimming , walking but very hard to maintain if you strictly do this on calories alone as just look at most menus from any mainstream restaurant and you will see their cal content of their dishes . It would - for me be very tricky to maintain near to Xmas but I admire your determination .

Would you let us know your fave dishes and how you are getting on over the months of doing this please .

Encouraging- you have lost 1kg . I find my body gets used to a certain weight and I can tweak my food and shed say 3-4lb then the rest doesn’t shift . I am not as focused on loosing weight now . I want to eat good nutritional content and feel mentally happy as when I ever restricted , over thought and even refused to go out for coffee then my lifestyle changed and suffered . Let’s say I am mindful but my mind can only take so much . I am too busy now running up to Xmas but if I am tempted on a grocery shop I think I can only eat it if I buy it . My grocery bills I would say are less than the average shopper who spends on snacks and processed goods.
