When I was younger I was always under weight but it was natural, not unhealthy. As I've gotten older and my stress has tripled, I have gain a lot of weight. In the span of 6 months I went down a unhealthy weight loss, I wasn't eating nearly enough. Now I have been in such a horrible mental space as well as still way above my weight goal, I eat fairly healthy and excersize fairly often but I've noticed I eat top much in a day and have many binge episodes. I get ridicule for my body at home which doesn't help. I am looking if not just for support of others with this problem then tips to help me lose weight healthy.

If there is one thing I have learned recently it is that happiness is very underated. Most of us feel if we lose weight we will be happy. But the only time I lost a big amount of weight was when I was in a happy place (after escaping a psychologically/mentally abusive relationship). I have been working on my mental wellbeing recently to try to lower stress levels and find happiness in the present. It may or may not aid with weight loss but either way I think it would help you to focus on building your self esteem and confidence.

Try this:

Daily write one thing that you love and makes you happy.

Daily write one thing you are good at.

Daily spend 5 minutes in a quite contemplative place. Go for a walk, look at the sky. Breathe. Just enjoy being in the moment. Just 5 minutes of your time!

Freedom: remind yourself (on paper or in thoughts) that you are free to choose. You can choose to eat healthily (and aid your goals) or choose to have your binge food/unhealthy treats and delay your goal. Its upto you. You are free.

If you are experiencing other negatives in your life this will also help you feel stronger. Either stand up to the bullies or build a shield around yourself to not let their words hurt you.

I hope this helps.
