Checking things out…

I always have a hard time remaining consistent and following through with healthier eating and exercise to live a healthier lifestyle. I always manage to let my emotions derail me. I don’t know why. It’s incredibly frustrating. I was googling weight loss support and communities and found this. I thought that if maybe I had at least one person, it might help me to stay the course. I’m tired of living like this, yet that never seems to be enough to keep me going.

Hi and welcome, Phoenix1081 :)

You'd be hard pushed to find anyone here that doesn't allow their emotions to derail them from time to time. The trick is being able to draw a line under it and move on. One giant pizza eaten when the boiler conks out, or the kitchen floods, or you're overlooked for a promotion, doesn't need to ruin a whole day/week/month/year. The beauty about being with like-minded people, is that we will always be here when you're having a bad moment :)

All of the information you need about the forum can be found in Pinned Posts healthunlocked.com/weight-l... and we hope you'll be joining all the Events, Challenges and Clubs that we run, especially the weigh-in and daily diary.

We've found active participation to be key to successful weight loss and, of course, it's a good way to get to know people, find inspiration and share support and encouragement.

Wishing you all the best :)

"The trick is being able to draw a line under it and move on". That is so true and something I need to remind myself of often.

As moreless said how many of us don't let our emotions derail us fro time to time.

I'm sure many other people will reply relating to exactly that.
