Hi and welcome, Lookin4Hope :)

You've come to just the right place, I suspect that the vast majority of us will be able to empathise with you. Have a look at this helpguide.org/articles/diet... but my best advice is to get involved on the forum.

All of the information you need about the forum can be found in Pinned Posts healthunlocked.com/weight-l... and we hope you'll be joining all the Events, Challenges and Clubs that we run, especially a weigh-in and the daily diary.

If you haven't already taken it, here's a tour of the forum healthunlocked.com/?tour=true

We've found active participation to be key to successful weight loss and, of course, it's a good way to get to know people, find inspiration and share support and encouragement.

Wishing you all the best :)

Hi Myla88, would you like to join in the weigh in too? You're more than welcome to.

You don't say if you are here to lose weight too but if you are, I suggest you spend some time clicking about to find your way around. It's easier if you have a lap-top as there are several threads. If you’re using another device I strongly suggest that you use the web page as opposed to the App because the App will soon be deactivated.

Have a good read of the pinned post “Welcome Newbies” and follow every thread.

I strongly suggest you read and contribute to the Daily Diary and participate in a Weekly Weigh in. Participation really is the key to success and building a great support network.

Good luck and we hope to "see " you around.

The daily weigh ins are great for celebrating losses but also for encouragement when things aren't going as planned, you really should join today's :-) x

Morning Lookin4Hope,

For me it's keeping occupied, I thin that definitely helps.

Good luck.

HiI think keeping busy is really good, your mind is focused elsewhere and if working from home, keep away from the kitchen! Try laughing/ watching comedy to release stress and be grateful for all you have.

Hi jujuemard ,thanks for your support. You don't mention if you're on your own weight loss journey or just visiting.

I suggest you spend some time clicking about to find your way around. It's easier if you have a lap-top as there are several threads. If you’re using another device I strongly suggest that you use the web page as opposed to the App because the App will soon be disactivated.

Have a good read of the pinned post “Welcome Newbies” and follow every thread.

Here’s the link for the “Tour” of the forum. If you haven’t already taken it.

I strongly suggest you read and contribute to the Daily Diary and participate in a Weekly Weigh in.

You will find there's loads of tips about better eating, from other members. Sharing your daily menu not only helps you stay committed, it can help other members too.

Good luck I hope to "see " you around.

I have to admit that I do I have gained a huge amount of weight I eat just to pass the time I am stuck here and disabled (not due to my weight) some days just getting out of bed is difficult I even bought one of the hospital type just so it can sit me up in a morning and I know as soon as I get up what type of day it is going to be if I have to go out I have to take it easy for a couple of days and after it can hurt me for several days so I end up just either sitting here or lying in bed nibbling on whatever is nearest which is normally chocolate which is not the best, I think it will be the cause of my death.
