Break Thru!

fedupoffeelingtired profile image

After previously feeling so deflated, I have continued my weight loss journey without getting on the scales. I am however measuring myself weekly and today got this, what a boost.

This is EXACTLY what I'm doing! I have given up getting on the scales for Lent and will be measuring my waist and hips every week till it ends. Your post gives me hope 😄

Thank you IamwhatIam517, hubby thinks I'm being silly. Nice to see I'm not the only one doing it this way.

Not silly at all. Whatever work for you, everyone is different 😄

That's fabulous Fedupoffeelingtired. Anything that spurs us on is a good thing so keep doing it. I measured just my waist at the beginning and wish i'd measured other bits too. Seeing my waist shrink on the tape measure is hugely motivational. I love it when my watch buzzes with a little trophy when i hit my daily steps target too xx

Well done fedupoffeelingtired 👍 I did this in the first lockdown as I have no scales, it is great to see the weight coming off that way 🙂
