Hi 🙋🏻‍♀️

Sorry for this post I might been a bit silly but I just need to check and ask, so when I weight myself in pounds it’s showing 20lb weight loss , I then convert into stone so I can see stone wise and when moving into next bracket and then work out the two weight and only 18lbs lost 🤔 really confused ! What am I don’t wrong which should I go by ? Xx

14lbs = 1st

If you're using Google, you're probably getting points of a stone, not pounds.

Your start weight here was 21st 11lbs or 305lbs

If you are now 285lbs/20st 5lbs, then you've lost 20lbs

If you are now 287lbs/20st 7lbslbs, then you've lost 18lbs

If your weight is different to this, let me know and I'll convert it for you :)

Hey yeah my weight is different to that now so I put on weight during lockdown which I’m sure a few of us did and got to 316 lb -22stone 5lbs ? this morning when I got in the scales I was 296 lbs 21stone 1lbs ? Xx

Your start weight of 316lbs = 22st 8lbs (22 x 14 = 308 + 8 = 316)

296lbs = 21st 2lbs (21 x 14 = 294 + 2 = 296)

Total loss is 20lbs/1st 6lbs (20/14 = 1 remainder 6)

Why not join today's weigh-in? :)

Google doesn't understand stones! It's giving you points of stones, not stones and pounds.

If you can't work it out for yourself, you have to Google "What is 316lbs in stones and pounds".

Thankyou for working it out for me 😘 really appreciate it xx

No problem, but if you usually work in pounds, I advise you to ignore stones :)

If you become a regular and supportive member of a weigh-in, I'll convert your pounds lost into a stones and pounds weight loss badge automatically :)

You must just be too young to have ever used stones as a unit of weight. Did you use kilograms in school?

I had it right to begin with i think I then went to the google and got thrown off ! And then started to doubt myself xx

You must believe in yourself, remember Google is American and not completely au fait with British foibles :)

Yes, Canada and America do not use Stones, just pounds:)

On google you can choose the option of stones and Ibs. If you asked to convert your weight in that you should have your answer. Many places as others have said only give you stones but there are sites that give you all three.
