Home made veg soup

just thought I'd post Picture of my home made veg soup, really easy

Carrots, leeks, sweet potato, green beens, lentils, salt n pepper, and mixed herbs..

You can add what ever veg you like, potato thickens it so no need for no need for artificial thickening..

Boiled in veg stock, blitzed, and a quarter pint of semi skimmed milk. (Optional, gives it a bit of creaminess)

I don't measure, I just chuck it all in... and it's.... devine!

Sounds and looks great! I'd probably chuck some cheese in for a bit of extra fat, to make it even more filling - thickens it up, too :)

I'm trying to cut down on cheese... its my favourite go to snack!

I don't think of it as a snack but I have it in lots of recipes. :)

I bought a big saucepan this week, have been watching too many curry making videos and lots seem to use a base gravy made up of blitzed veg and spices, etc but already I’m thinking soups for the colder autumn and winter so will jot yours down, thank you.
