I'm back and ready to continue my journey!

Hi all!

Two years ago after graduating university I completed the NHS weight loss programme and went from 215 lb to 185lb, I was so extremely proud of my accomplishments and still am. Nearly a year and half later I have put back on 5lb so back up to 190lb, which I think i've done brilliantly to keep that weight off and am still very proud. I did need some time off of being so particularly concerned with everything I was eating, I still ate healthy and used good portion sizes but life really caught up with me with the passing of my uncle from cancer, losing my dog, and continuing a very difficult long distance relationship. However here I am now ready to get started again on the next leg of my journey with a goal of losing 20lb over the next 12 weeks. I was supposed to be getting married in June but with lockdown have had to postpone to next June. I am thinking positively in that this gives me time to get back to feeling fit and healthy.

I actually started back at eating healthy and working out two weeks ago but I am not seeing and changes in my body yet which really comes down to the fact I keep using the weekend as an excuse to eat everything and anything I want. I wonder if anyone else is feeling this way but I need to start to get back to something more healthy and balanced rather than sticking to the calories I should during the week and treating the weekend like it doesnt count!

Anyways I am back and really excited about being apart of this community again Xx

Hi Katie, welcome back to the forum. I believe you will find things have changed a little since you were here 2 years ago . Here's the link to the Welcome newbies, so that you can begin to find your way around again.

healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh...

strongly suggest that you spend some time following every link until you know your way around. It's easier with the website as opposed to the app.

I recommend the Daily Diary and the weekly weigh ins

If you need an more help, please don't hesitate to ask, there's always someone here.
