Day 173: Lost and Found.

Had a major blip last week. Very down and depressed and this manifested itself in a week of eating rubbish and drinking a lot. But thankfully I have found my mojo again and, with the help of my family, have got back on track. However, that means I have a lot of weight to shift off again. Still, it'll be a reminder of how hard I will have to work if I do blip again.

I’m a retired teacher so I feel your pain! Lot of strange things going on at the moment and teachers are in strange highly stressful situation. No wonder you went off. We are only human. If you’ve done it once you can do it again

Aww WW2 really sad to hear about your cr*p week, had noticed you'd not been on lately, had put it down to schools returning, time factor etc. Now I'm back to normal working hours I have much less time for all my little chat groups. ANYWAY- you've caught it, you've stopped it and you're back to your healthier path. Sometimes i think we need these little blips to remind us that life can feel much better if we want it. 5lb doesn't sound too drastic after that binge week and hopefully will come off quickly now youve kicked the beer into touch! All the best for this week.

Hi DDJ, thanks for the support! It certainly has made me realise that I feel better and more energised when I'm on track than when I am not. 5lb isn't a lot but it is two weeks of work to shift it. Why is it so much easier to put it on than take it off? Lol.

I’m glad you have a family to support you during the hard moments.

I suffer from depression too but unfortunately in my case one of the biggest problems were exactly my family.

Let’s work together Wordsworth2 . Have a nice Tuesday.

Welcome back 🤗I was also wondering what you were up to as I hadn’t seen you post for a while. I’m glad you’re feeling better and that your family are supporting you ☺️You’ll find that little increase will fall off in no time at all. You are only in a race with yourself so although I think we are all impatient to reach our goal it is fine to take a little longer. On a longer journey you will learn more about yourself☺️ Still a win, just a different kind. Be easy on yourself. You have a full-on life and and need to heed the signals, take a deep breath and take time out to recharge 👍I look forward to hearing more about your successful journey in the coming days 😁

Hi Sheperdess, great to talk to you again. I always know I can rely on you for support. Still on a rocky road at the moment in terms of eating so not back on track fully. I'll get there, i just have to find out why I am so exhausted and not motivated to eat well. Hope your journey is going well and hopefully, by the end of the summer hols, I'll be where I want to be. 😁
