Day 54: The Night Before The Return.

Always a sleepless night before a return to school. Hoping that less stress and a more healthy lifestyle will help. However, I have joined a gym today and the wife is also coming on my journey too...so a double bonus! Hopefully a good precursor for things to come.

Hope your first day back went smoothly. I remember well that stress although I retired from 40 years of teaching nearly 20 years ago.😊

Hi wa2un7, first day was smooth but the night before wasn't. Always the same, can't sleep and end up tossing and turning throughout the night. The day itself was fine and I had no energy dips. Thank you for your continuing support.

I remember well the night before insomnia. Mind you it’s a bit like a distant dream now and I confess I couldn’t step onto a classroom floor now.😊
