Never give up

Well 15 months ago I decided after problems with my knee that I couldn’t keep losing and gaining 2 stone which over last 7 years is all I’d done with an actual increase of another stone heavier than I’d ever been!

So I set my goal of losing 2 stone, then 3, then 4, decided 4 1/2 would definitely be lowest as after starting 6 stone over to have lost 4 1/2, was beyond my wildest dreams. Got weighed Boxing Day and I’m now 5 stone lighter 🎉 that’s now as size 14 and feeling fit and healthy my aim is now to stat steady.

Eating more vegetables than ever before, lots low calorie and low fat goodies that go with me wherever I’m going so no excuses to eat rubbish and knowledge that I can control overeating and enjoy smaller portions of naughty treats.

The feeling of fitness energy and good health is better than eating anything I’d used to pig out on and that is my motivation.

I’ve had so many years of having Mickey taken out of me for constantly re starting diets but I’m proof you should never stop trying and believe me if only I’d known how much more energy and lively I’d feel I think I’d have got here years earlier. No one thought I could do it, even losing my mum just after Christmas last year did mean a month of gains but I reminded myself health is everything. You just need to believe in yourself and accept occasional back steps but don’t use them as excuses to give up ( I used to) good luck 😉
