I’m new here and I would like to say HI to all of you first.

Well I'm here to seek for advice to you guys because I feel sometimes a severe pain in my neck and also I'm an a over weight person. I would like to ask some options on how to cure the pain I feel and also to know what are some exercise that I can do that is not too difficult for me to lose my weight. and also i feel a little dizziness. I hope some advice that is appropriate to me because I also work as a Call center Agent.

Thank you in advance guys. I will appreciate it.

Regards,

Shawtzu

Hello and welcome Shawtzu,

We are not medically trained and I would advise you to make an appointment to see your Doctor regarding your neck pain. If you work in a call centre and are sat at a desk for several hours a day, it may be your posture. I am sure that your Doctor will be able to make some suggestions and give you some gentle exercise to help.

Thank you for a quick response I appreciated it. And I will read it all.

Hello! Well I have similar issues with my neck and am overweight and unfit. I think my pain comes from lack of muscle tone and poor posture. Working in a call centre will not help your posture! How about walking a little and trying Tai Chi - there are great youtube videos to try. To be honest I can only do a little of them but I figure a few minutes is better than none and at least I can work up from there. Don't worry if you cannot do it all, be gentle on yourself. It is very good for balance so may help with dizziness.

Thanks for quick response. Did you go to see a doctor?

Yes I'm trying to do balance diet. I was worried because Im working at the same time I'm also studying. so maybe over stress that is one cause of it.

I have seen a Dr yes, they sent me for an x-ray and physio but I find looking after it myself the best option. Children, job, studying - that is a lot! Could you batch cook and freeze some at the weekend or use left overs for lunches?

Im planning to go to doctor by next week.

But still I feel a little pain in my back and good news I do a little exercise with my dogs earlier.

Good Morning.

Hi, Shawtzu , Welcome.

What works for me is having my monitor at eye level - so I am not looking down so much. Do you have an ergonomic team where you work?

Physiotherapy?

Have you been trying to lose weight? (This could cause dizziness.)

Dizziness could be caused by a cardiac or arrhythmia problem - see other forums here on Health Unlocked.
