Hi, I am hoping this site works for me when weight watchers and other diets have failed!

I am going to be 60 next April and would like to lose some of the extra weight I've put on this last year.

My problem is I start off with good intentions then go off track. if I can lose defiantly a stone preferably a bit more I will be happy, especially as have daughters wedding in just over a year 😊

Hi, I woud suggest starting off small...buy a lot of fruits and vegetables instead of sugar-loaded sweets and start a daily exercise routine that's good enough for you. Sometimes just walking works, riding a bike, etc. Find something that you enjoy doing that involves moving your body., perhaps dancing to some of your favorite music.

Welcome. Im a newby too.

Staying on track is also my issue.

It may help to think of a picture.

Our Brains work in pictures.

What picture do you think of when thinking about staying on track?

Maybe drawing the picture and adding your meals daily might help.

Using another tool to reinforce your plan could help.

lol Im off to draw mine.

I could do with all the help I can get. teehee

Hugo-charlie welcome to your healthy eating journey! :) I'm not doing "diets" anymore, I'm trying to keep to a healthy eating regime! :) Sometimes it works, lol! :( And sometimes it doesn't!!! So now I try not to eat bread / pasta / rice and eat lots of veggies instead! Usually I do ok - I've also tried to not eat after 6 pm and mostly that works for me too! Meanwhile I bought smaller plates to stop me binge eating and I like them! :) Enjoy the forum and have a great supportive week ahead! :)
