Thanks for the why wait until Jan nudge. This morning i got up early and walked the dog. Then home and a fifteen minute workout. I’ve found YouTube videos by an old personal trainer of mine, her name is Annie Deadman ... check her out, she’s excellent and very motivational. Now porridge and banana for Brekky ... I’ve earned it 👍

Well done, it seemed such a waste of your enthusiasm- and a month - so why not? Popping on here every day - and being aware of the weekly weigh in - are huge motivators!

What’s the weekly weigh in?

in reply to lauraturnill

Have you been invited to join the newbie club for December? You should get a very useful message about the forum and the various challenges etc etc. Every day there is a weigh in, hosted by an admin or another ‘grown up’ you chose which day of the week suits you, weigh yourself first thing in the morning, after going to the loo and taking your nightie off (every little helps) then you post it on that days weigh in thread. Then on the same day every week you repeat the exercise and say

I started at xxxx

Last week I was xxxx-

Today I am xxxx—

So I have lost x lbs ( or kilos whichever works for you)

So it’s a bit like a virtual weight watchers - without the shame!!

You will find that lots of other forum members will then congratulate you - or sympathise if the scales have gone in the wrong direction! We all know, sometimes sh*t happens!

Hope that all makes sense!

Thanks NannyEJ. Not had time to exercise today, but have managed to keep food intake to 1100 calories and I’m so full up. Just shows it’s all about the right food choices
