Good question Ffionparsons 👍 I am an awful late night snacker that's been trying to stop myself 😡 so would love to know too if anyone's tried this.😊

Not really, but I mentally close the kitchen at 7pm and delay eating breakfast until after exercise.

There are some members who do intermittent fasting so I’m sure they’ll be along soon to advise

Good luck 😊

I haven't tried 16/8 but I do have success on 5/2 when I have 600 calories 2 days a week.. I have looked at this and read up on it, but I have a hectic life and wouldn't be able to sustain eating enough within the 8 hour window!

I hope you get more responses to give some experiences to consider...

I’ve done 18/6... I’ve lost a good amount of weight.. I haven’t followed it religiously, as in no calories whatsoever during fast or going ketogenic. I have coffees with milk no sugar, and Bovril all morning to keep me going till 1pm lunch.. my last meal is usually 7pm... but I do have a couple of coffees before bedtime...started at 13. 6...in May, and I’m currently 11.3.

Hi, I eat after 11am and before 6pm on a normal day and this suits me really well.

When working I was up at 5.30 to make tea and make sure our lads had packed lunches and breakfast ready before getting out to feed and check my pony then cycling home to shower and change ready to cycle to work. I felt sick if I ate before 11am and have never enjoyed eating breakfast as much as lunch.

So if that sort of lifestyle fits in with you and your life, then it's easier to utilise it in your eating plan and more likely to become a habit.

Small steps.
