Hi my name is Nick.gave up alcohol 4wks ago and taken up the couch to 5k programme.i eat relatively healthily walk everyday but after initially loosing .5 stone my weight appears stuck.Loose a couple of pounds one day put it back on the next.very annoying! Any advice please? Regards,Nick.

Hi I'm Erin I experience the same thing. Lost 7 lbs last week only to gain it back this week. I didn't change my diet still work out the same. It can be very frustrating. Do you have hypo thyroid?
Well done on cutting out the alcohol
Often your first week or two will show a great result due to changing eating patterns and fluid loss. Then the serious work begins
Maybe check your carb intake (rice, pasta, bread, potato) and cut them down a bit to see if that makes a difference.
