Oh no Janpes that sounds nasty, hope you recover really quickly. But at least the snow has gone and you are continuing with your garden project.
Garden project that started off as small thing that wouldnt take long has now spiralled into 1km of wood ordered for the decking π²π²π²π² damn me and my ideas, I should be locked in a shed until the next winter comesπππ
We only live the once so need to get them ideas out there. They no good to me when I am goneππ
Getting injuries along the way is a part of life. Strange thing though is that I was dreaming about the nail in foot thing a couple of weeks ago and was laughing with hubby as he did it last summer when we tore down the outhouse. I said it is gonna be my turn next π² didnt think it would be so soon.
Need to dream of winning the lottery as seems dreams do come trueπππ
Oh, that's awful. I did that many years ago. Do be sure to get a tetanus jab from your GP's nurse. There is bacteria in soil and the nail will have acted like an injection. You'll be fine, but do ask the nurse or your doctor.
Hehe this is extreme gardening. We tore down a ground cellar, chopped down 4 trees, cut up the wood and chipped the branches and are extending our decking. The whole garden looks like a tip right now. The wood delivery is next week so once that is here we can start building ππ
Hehe iron woman, I like the sound of that ππ
I am just gonna be a little more careful out there. The destruction stage is almost done and everything is almost cleaned up. Then next week starts the building stage. The wood will arrive mid week and I think that construction will last about 2 weeks. Then starts the difficult stage of moving the firepit building onto the new decking and extending it a little.
After that hopefully it will be summer so we can sit down and enjoy the sun.
Oh no Jan that's terrible. I hope you have had your "tetanus jab"!
Glad the snow has gone, easier for you to get your project finished. I've only just seen this today so have a great "fire pit Friday" relaxing with your friends.
